The food was modern and delicious! The carbonara was a new take and the seafood to die for! The atmosphere and vibe was trendy and exotic. The servers/staff could have been more attentive .

We were seated outdoors which was very cold, and were not informed when booking. Service was extremely slow. Food was very poor

Restaurant is very nicely decorated. All the employees are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable. I visited the restaurant with my family (a total of 13) and they had set our table outside but we requested to be sat inside and without hesitation they accommodated us in 2 tables inside. We all ordered different things but loved the mussels, Carbonara and filet with chimichurri sauce. Deserts were great too; our food was delicious.

We were really looking forward to eating at MiVa but sadly it was very disappointing. The serving staff were lovely however they were let down by the food. I asked for a medium steak however it was served raw and cold in the middle. My friend insisted that I sent it back which I hate doing but the chef just looked annoyed and cooked what was on my plate a bit longer and put it back down in front of me but I still could not eat it as I had lost my appetite as the quality was not good, the chef was quite rude and insisted that it was cooked the Italian way…… I have travelled Italy a lot and I am very familiar with Italian cuisine. My friend had cockerel and it was hard and like an old shoe but tastier than my dish. I don’t understand how the review rating was so high as it was the worst meal I have ever had in Italy.

Used to be our favourite restaurant, which we visited every time we were in Rome in the last 6 years. Tonight, we didn't even get to properly enter the restaurant as the hostess/waiter jumped in front of us and started to tell us to go. I repeated twice we have a reservation, told the name and we were sent outside on the closed terrace. This ruined the mood, as we all were in shock because of his aggressive reaction. At the end, we went inside to pay and told him his attitude is not normal, and that he was not polite. He started to raise his voice and then said `I don't care about you! Leave! (please check the cameras - he raised his voice so loud that my family overheard him from outside, with the door closed). I seriously hope that his aggressive and unpolite attitude does not represent the business itself as we were so terribly disappointed that our favourite restaurant in Rome became a place with such a rude approach.

Disappointing. Good reviews on-line but a long way below expectations for quality of food. Prawns as starter were Kentucky Fried Chicken style with good sized prawns but disappointing taste and texture. The main course of octopus had various textures ranging along its length from slimy to tough suggesting both a problem with the original product and the preparation. The wine was good. The price was high given the limited menu and quality of dishes.

The food was really good and so was the ambience. What let the evening down was the service. They insisted on starting to take away plates from those of us who had finished whilst others were still eating. We started with a bottle of white wine and then ordered a wonderful red chianti but the waiter was very reluctant to change our wine glasses even though we asked. He did it very reluctantly. We also had to ask for cutlery when the main dish arrived as they had cleared most of the cutlery when taking away our stater plates. The service was very disappointing - my cousin lives in Rome and I will advise her to stay clear of this restaurant even though the food is actually very good.

The very best pasta I have ever had! Vine recommendation was superb with the food and not pricy. Excellent choice for dinner.

Pastas were not served hot, or even warm. No staff checked in on us. No bread was offered, when every table around us had it. Service started just fine and went downhill through the course of the meal.

Really cute place. The food was top notch! I got the octopus and it was absolutely amazing!. I spent two weeks in Rome and this might have been the best thing I ate.

Recommended by our host. Great little place. Average Rome price but the food was perfect. Nice outside seating area for reservations only. Highly recommend. They speak english so they make ordering easy.

I always love a restaurant where the owner is genuinely caring about your experience. It was nice to escape the tourist trap restaurants. If you’re looking for a good meal, this is the spot.

My family of 8 went to Mi Va after seeing reviews on Tik Tok and reading Trip Advisor reviews. Located in the Prati neighborhood where we were staying its a perfect little restaurant. The Italian dishes of cacio e pepe, amatricina and carbonara were 100% authentic. We also have meals of salmon, rooster and steak bites. All deliciouso. Great little place. Totally enjoyed an authentic Italian experience.

Lovely ambience, friendly service, and excellent food. Reasonable prices. We’ll be back. Free fried bread and mint Prosecco upon entering. Excellent wine.

Lovely food and kind staff. We enjoyed sitting outside. The mixed salad was fresh and tasty and the pasta dishes we had were very good. Also had the crème brûlée for a treat. A+ recommended

Excellent food! Absolute insider tip! Had one of my best Saltimboca. Away from the typical tourist restaurants. The service was very good. Uncomplicated atmosphere.

This was a last minute call for dinner and I’m glad we went with Miva. Outdoor seating was perfect. We were in an enclosure so the heat wasn’t bad. Food was good but in their defense I had appetizer and a salad. The salad was very refreshing. They had unique dinner options which my family enjoyed.

This was our 2nd visit to Miva following a wonderful first experience previously. The food was excellent, however the service this time was less than desirable. On this visit, we were seated in a lower level area far away from other guests and stuff. We had to go looking for a refill of water and were left mostly unattended. The staff person who attended us was l was than friendly. We would consider this poor service prior to a return visit in the future.

We'd been to this restaurant a few times before the pandemic and enjoyed their food and ambiance. Unfortunately it is a totally different restaurant now and we won't be going back.

Had dinner with a friend, the design of the place is unique, a cozy and warm place, made charming by the manager and the crew. Food is very researched, nevertheless keeping a basic simplicity. We tried the fried calamari meatballs, and they were really superb, but the over the top was the artichoke with baccalà cream, a real masterpiece. I warmly recommend the spot for a dinner with your fiance or a bite with friends.

We enjoyed a tasty meal here on New Year's Eve. The restaurant replied to my queries in advance while I was booking. Despite a busy night, the service and attention from staff was friendly and efficient. The pasta was the best we've had so far in Rome. Cosy, welcoming and modern decor.
