Moma is a cozy and sweet little spot outside the crowded center of Rome. The food is not only delicious but also beautifully plated. It's a pleasure for the eyes and the pallette. I'd recommend the duck for sure 👌

Excellent experience. We ordered a la carte and found all the dishes creative and tasty without being precious. Slight downgrade on the service only because our server for the mains did not remember which of us ordered what dish. Otherwise, the service was friendly and helpful.

Attention to detail. The portions of food were just the right size so that you could enjoy a tasting menu without feeling over full. The chefs were very clever in creating each dish and the waiting staff were very well trained in explaining in a humorous way, what you were being offered. Really enjoyed the evening and they well deserve their star.

We had the creativity menu, the first couple dishes Oyster/Scampi and veal sweet bread were amazing. However the two pasta dishes were not tasty at all. And the pigeon had a strong bird smell. Service was amazing.

We arrived as they opened and we spent 3 hours over a gastronomical tour of excellent food, helpful advice and tremendous service. My advice would be to listen to, and chat with, the staff. Once they clocked that we were swapping dishes (so we each tried everything) they started working on pairs of dishes. Well done to everyone there.

Fantastic. We did the wine pairing which was superb. The team went above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions. Know that if you opt for the tasting menu, it’s a 3- 4 hour meal with many delicious courses! We did the creativity which was delightful. The staff also went out of their way and stayed after closing to help us call a cab during a transportation strike, ensuring our party of 7 had cabs (thank you!!).

We arrived 30 minutes before the restaurant opened and they welcomed us until our table was ready with some wonderful coffee. The overall service and food was exceptional with explanations behind each course. We will definitely visit Moma again.

My wife and I did the tasting menu with the paired wines. We were blown away by the quality of the food, its presentation and taste. The wine was paired perfectly to each course. The staff service was exceptional. Very enjoyable experience and highly recommended. 😊

Excellent food and service, the highlight was the cuttlefish puttanesca dish. The dish was cuttlefish strips, that mimicked pasta. Each slice of fish was the same length and thickness, incredible knife skills. The fish is piled into a ball, like pasta then the sauce is poured around the dish. The sauce is a wonderful deep red broth of puttanesca flavors. This was the perfect dish in my opinion.

Moma - A Gastronomic Journey with Room for Improvement Nestled in Rome, Moma offers an innovative menu that delights the palate. The Sweet bread and creativity tasting menu are highlights, showcasing high flavor profiles and unique dishes. However, the dining experience had notable drawbacks. The restaurant was uncomfortably warm, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. Service was slow, with significant delays between courses, leading to frustration as others were served before us. The presence of fruit flies added to the discomfort. Additionally, the restroom did not flush properly, and a loud, disruptive couple further marred the experience. Despite its culinary excellence, Moma needs improvements in service, climate control, and cleanliness to reach its full potential. Overall Rating: - Food: 9/10 - Service: 5/10 - Ambiance: 6/10 - Cleanliness: 6/10 - Overall Experience: 6.5/10 Moma has the potential to be one of Rome’s finest with some refinements.
