We arrived as they opened and we spent 3 hours over a gastronomical tour of excellent food, helpful advice and tremendous service. My advice would be to listen to, and chat with, the staff. Once they clocked that we were swapping dishes (so we each tried everything) they started working on pairs of dishes. Well done to everyone there.

Fantastic. We did the wine pairing which was superb. The team went above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions. Know that if you opt for the tasting menu, it’s a 3- 4 hour meal with many delicious courses! We did the creativity which was delightful. The staff also went out of their way and stayed after closing to help us call a cab during a transportation strike, ensuring our party of 7 had cabs (thank you!!).

We arrived 30 minutes before the restaurant opened and they welcomed us until our table was ready with some wonderful coffee. The overall service and food was exceptional with explanations behind each course. We will definitely visit Moma again.

My wife and I did the tasting menu with the paired wines. We were blown away by the quality of the food, its presentation and taste. The wine was paired perfectly to each course. The staff service was exceptional. Very enjoyable experience and highly recommended. 😊

Excellent food and service, the highlight was the cuttlefish puttanesca dish. The dish was cuttlefish strips, that mimicked pasta. Each slice of fish was the same length and thickness, incredible knife skills. The fish is piled into a ball, like pasta then the sauce is poured around the dish. The sauce is a wonderful deep red broth of puttanesca flavors. This was the perfect dish in my opinion.

Moma - A Gastronomic Journey with Room for Improvement Nestled in Rome, Moma offers an innovative menu that delights the palate. The Sweet bread and creativity tasting menu are highlights, showcasing high flavor profiles and unique dishes. However, the dining experience had notable drawbacks. The restaurant was uncomfortably warm, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. Service was slow, with significant delays between courses, leading to frustration as others were served before us. The presence of fruit flies added to the discomfort. Additionally, the restroom did not flush properly, and a loud, disruptive couple further marred the experience. Despite its culinary excellence, Moma needs improvements in service, climate control, and cleanliness to reach its full potential. Overall Rating: - Food: 9/10 - Service: 5/10 - Ambiance: 6/10 - Cleanliness: 6/10 - Overall Experience: 6.5/10 Moma has the potential to be one of Rome’s finest with some refinements.

Excellent service. I am pregnant and the chef modified the tasting menu so that each dish was safe for pregnancy and nothing contained raw or rare meat/seafood. It was a wonderful night out!

I have never had a better Michelin dining experience! Moma is an absolute must visit restaurant. From the moment we entered, the amazing hostess Evelyn was kind, welcoming, and had as sitting at the bar for her hand crafted cocktails. Our table wasn't quite ready, so she spent the next 10 minutes chatting with us and making a genuine human connection! When they escorted us to our table upstairs, I was so impressed with the overall feel of the dining room. It had a cozy but refined look. We decided on the tasting menu, and I can honestly say this was the best progression of dishes I've ever had! There wasn't one dish that didn't sing with harmony and flavor! More specifically, the cuttlefish puttanesca was an absolute mastery of Italian deliciousness! Just one swipe of the sauce incorporated all the traditional puttanesca flavors. However, what impressed me the most (a person who's not overly fond of vegetables) was the Our seasonal garden dish. I absolutely can not impress the level of thought and creativity that went into this dish! Every vegetable had a different texture and cook to it. Some were crunchy, some pickled, some fresh, and this was all on top of a sauce that had a beautiful crunchy-"soil" like texture. I'd go back just for that dish alone! As with any Michelin restaurant, the service is something that can make or break the overall experience. And Moma took dining care to a whole other level of awesomeness! The wait staff expertly explained each dish slowly and took time to answer any questions patiently and honestly. They had us laughing and never let a wine or water glass go empty! They also employ what can only be described as a Napkin Ninja - that gentleman had a fresh napkin on the table after anyone used the bathroom. But he did it so quickly that I swear he must have had access to dimensional portals! Overall, if you're in Rome, I would HIGHLY suggest visiting Moma. It's a must visit for exceptional dining.

Moma is a small, exquisite restaurant (about capacity of 50), thus allowing the staff to focus on the best food and service. We had the tasting menu of 6 items, with an additional 5 surprise items from Chef Andrea Pasqualucci. Each item was beautifully presented, uniquely tasty, and appropriately portioned. Service was top notch. Price was good, not exorbitant. We enjoyed Moma so much, we booked another evening at Moma on our final evening in Rome before our flight home to the U.S.

Refined upscale restaurant with modern Italian cuisine. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff, without being intrusive. The tasting menu was creative and beautifully presented. We particularly appreciated the flexibility on slight menu changes and the wine pairing. Costly but worth the experience.
