Veal cheek was nice and tender. The filet mignon lacked flavour. Both came smothered in rather gloopy unimaginative sauces and served on top of the usual mashed potatoes.

Service was attentive, but courses were not all served at the same time. Quite of bit of noise from the bar during the meal and the restaurant was rather stuffy by the end of the evening. Food and wine selections were quite diverse in both type and price. Starters were overwhelmingly good but mains were lacking: the duck was not well cooked and for the price I would have liked to see at least one vegetable (no sides were offered). Overall good but not great.

Food was really good. Unfortunately the service was below the standard for such a restaurant. Our table, booked in advance, was not ready when we arrive (on time) and service was generally very slow. Anyway, I recommend the restaurant.
