8/10First time since menu changed and I don’t like it, very limited options and quite pricey. Service was good, the place is beautifully decorated but empty. I’m not going again

We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear that the new menu options did not meet your expectations. It is true that a recent change in management has led us to review the philosophy of the Monsieur Bouillon restaurant. We work with fresh, seasonal produce, our aim being to work as much as possible with local producers, emphasising the importance of short circuits. Our entire menu is home made and prepared daily by our chefs. As result, a limited menu allows us to control more rigorously the quality of the products we serve on a daily basis. The restaurant has also recently changed its opening days. We are now open from Monday to Friday. When you visited us on Monday 29 of January, this was our first Monday open. We work every day to ensure that this day is as busy as any other day. We hope you will change your mind and come and visit us again.

10/10First time and really enjoyed it. Very nice room and decor, friendly and efficient service. Not too noisy yet not too quiet. Food came at the right waiting time. Dishes were not cheap but portions were correct to big (Chicken milanese is really big). Dishes were actually very tasty. 100% satisfied.

7/10Nothing special food-wise. The menu reads much better than it tastes. The interior is contemporary chic, the service is very good. Good thing the menu is in French and English. The house sauvignon blanc is excellent. Unfortunately, the food falls short of the expectations both in taste and in execution, the presentation is fine. Would not return, but no regrets for trying something new.

9/10This a good and consistent address in Geneva. The restaurant location and decoration makes for a nice setting and the quality of the welcoming is real. Somehow since the « normal life atfer the pandemic » resumed, I feel that the service in all restaurants I visit is somehow lacking, but I think it is due to recruiting issues and here despite the efforts of the personnel we had to wait a lot for our main courses. But the quality of the food overall was very good and the kitchen cannot be faulted for the various dishes prepared with care. Overall a very pleasant experience, and a good point for prices that - for Geneva - are somewhat contained.

4.5/10Basic food, poor quality chicken. We were not told a few dishes were missing, we learnt about it when we ordered them. Waiter has poor knowledge of the wine list and overall about wine in general. We were hoping for a local wine recommendation, which didn’t happen. We ended up drinking familiar Bordeaux, which was served at 10 degrees. We were served the end of the bottle and the lees came with the wine. We expected more from a Phillipe Chevrier restaurant and left rather disappointed.

8.5/10The first time that we came to Monsieur Bouillon we loved it. Yesterday we went with my bf’s family and we were seated in the terrace (the restaurant inside was empty), which we guessed was due to covid. The atmosphere was nice until it got dark and we had to eat with the light coming from the other side of the street and some small lights hung on the trees (which did not give any light at all) - that is, basically in the dark. I understand it was late for Swiss standards but still some more light would have been appreciated. Maybe there was too much intimacy for coming with the family. However, the food was as good as we remembered it.

10/10Great new place downtown, looove the déco and the service, food was really good, simple but really tasty. Surely we'll be back to try more things. Baba au limocello was delicious. The chief and staff were really a pleasure to meet.

6.5/10Very uneven visit. The service was incredibly slow, borderline unacceptable for a business lunch place. The food was correct - signature chicken was good, the Milanese version was too greasy. The place is pretty cool.
