10/10Together with my husband and daughter, I had the privilege of having dinner at Monsù in Taormina on the eve of my husband's 60th birthday. We were blown away by not only the delicious food, the warm welcome but also the impeccable service! A truly unforgettable evening and an absolute highlight of our Sicilian holiday. Best dinner experience we had in Sicily. Grazie mille!

Their creative twist on traditional Sicilian cuisine was exceptional, with the standout dish being the broken spaghetti with lobster, served in a rich seafood broth infused with tomato. A remarkable and memorable dining experience.

9.5/10As a coeliac I was delighted that they understand not only my gluten free requirements but that no cross contamination is key. The waiters (Alexander & Salvatore) were excellent. They went out of their way to provide gf breads and cookies as I notified them in advance. The food was superb. The chef came out to explain a dish and took time to explain his methods. Highly recommend for coeliac/ gluten free dining. It is a higher end restaurant but still reasonable.

10/10Gorgeous restaurant! Cosy, intimate, beautiful surroundings. Francesco was especially attentive to our questions regarding the wine list and dinner menu. He kindly gifted us a small jar of tomato sauce and also orange marmalade. Food was amazing. Such a wonderful and nicely paced meal. Fish couscous and artichoke gnocchi were outstanding and delicious homemade breads.

First off Monsù is lucky to have Francesco and Salvatore as family/host. I had one of the best experiences/food in my life at Monsú . For a person who has never wanted to try Octopus, this is the place to have it. The customer service was above and beyond. Francesco was genuine, knowledgeable and humorous. The shrimp carpaccio was decadent. I suggest you get the lobster linguini Sicilian style, different from the norm. To anyone visiting taormina, come to Monsú, you wont be disappointed. Thank you to the chef for introducing himself and sending me home with a double cherry tomato pasta sauce

Our meal at Monsú was memorable for the excellent service and food. My husband had the ravioli and I had couscous di pesche Trapanese. Both were excellent, but the pistachio cake with a pistachio cream filling dessert was OUTSTANDING. Francesco was a very good wine steward and the other gentlemen was very personable, too. We also had breakfast at Monsú, and it was the best hotel breakfast we had on our trip. Francesco also served there. He was joined by Ivana, who was delightful and efficient.
