Hidden little gem in Antibes. Owned and run by 2 cheerful gents. A small, select menu. The Octopus & Chorizos I ordered was outstanding. But the service is really what makes this place outstanding. The outdoor seating is quaint and nice.

We visited the restaurant with my wife and were extremely pleasantly surprised by the welcome, the seating, and the overall service. I have no complaints about the quality of the food or the price. We were very satisfied with our choice and recommend restaurant Mordus to anyone visiting Antibes who would like to enjoy delicious Mediterranean cuisine served with French sophistication.

Found this quiet but haute-cuisine gem in our one night in Cap Antibes and are so fortunate we did. It’s down a charming alley with a few tables outside, leading to a well-executed ambiance. Beef tartare, octopus, stuffed tomatoes and wine selection were all immaculate. I literally cannot say enough good things about MORDUS.

We arrived drenched from a terrible downpour on the first night of our holiday and feeling pretty downcast, but our mood was lifted in an instant by the delightful service here and excellent food. The menu is limited, but carefully curated: everything is delicious, nicely presented and reasonably priced. We sampled a Provençal organic red wine and were very pleased with our choice; the wine list is interesting. Be warned, though: you have to book, as it’s fairly small (we saw quite a few hopefuls turned away) and there was no vegetarian main course that night. Set in a little back street in the old town with lovely old beams.

The food was very carefully prepared - tataki of tuna and beef, octopus, mousse au chocolat. Delicate and flavorful. My only reservation is the portions are not "copieux."
