Service was soo slow and food was bad

We booked a table through the fork without reading any reviews but just by looking at the rating, big mistake. Everything was very disappointing, the restaurant was ran by 3 very young men and none of them I think had any idea how to work in the hospitality business. Sometimes I don't really care about the service as much as I care about the food but my experience was probably one of the worst i've had for a long time. I ordered water, hot tea and a glass of wine for drinks: they only brought me water, I had to ask for the tea again for them to bring it to me, the glass of wine never came after suggesting me another kind of wine since the first 2 that I chose were out of stock. The entrecote was bad, we asked for med rare and medium doneness and they both came rare. Meat was very chewy and fatty. The croquettes we ordered as starters never came. At this point I was quite annoyed and decided to ask for the check, they gave me the wrong check 3 times!! I don't recommend

I found a huge plastic in my paella. All the plates were broken, 5 euros a bottle of water for the type of restaurant that it is. Don’t recommend to come here, at all.

The restaurant has a nice interior and is clean. The food was good as well. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with the staff members - they were rude, unresponsive, and dismissive. It is true that we were dining there so perhaps they were a bit understaffed but it certainly is not the way to deal with customers. When we said that we have the discount, the staff members got visibly annoyed at us…next time when we are in Barcelona, we will not be returning.

Very disappointing experience. We waited 45 minutes for starters and 35 minutes for the main course. The entrecôte was extremely fatty and tough. Our waiter was respectful and offered a drink as compensation, but when he asked the manager/owner, the manager loudly responded with racist remarks in Spanish (“puta morros”). This behavior is completely unacceptable. The waiter did his best, but the long waiting times, poor food quality, and above all the manager’s discriminatory attitude make this a place I will never return to.

Great atmosphere on La Ramblas. Although the restaurant was full and buzzing, service was very attentive from the staff. Food was very good too.

A textbook tourist trap. Yes, it’s well-located on Las Ramblas — but that’s where the charm ends. We had a reservation, and still waited 45 minutes before anyone came to take our order. No apology, no explanation, no eye contact. Just silence and contempt. The menu is tiny, prices are inflated, and the staff clearly couldn’t care less. If you enjoy feeling invisible while being overcharged, this is your spot. Otherwise, keep walking — Barcelona has far better to offer.

Paella was extremely disappointing, didn’t look anything like the picture!! It was black and contained some sort of inedible vegetable that was hard to chew, I think it was the artichoke leaves. Also over priced!!!!

This place is a tourist trap. They overpriced our orders when it was time to pay. The prices on the menu are not clearly stated ( for drinks too) so I guess the final price depends on their mood. It is NOT Muslims friendly as they claim. The food is so bad it’s an insult to the customers. The fact this place is still open to this day is crazy.

Service could be improve. We were not greeted when we enter. Lady taking our order look like it is her 1st day waiting tables but we are ok with that but what turns us off when someone who look like her supervisor was reprimanding her infront of us.that is so unprofessional

Went with family, atmosphere was nice and place very clean and about food it was good. Wouldn’t say very authentic as when there’s various options its not possible to provide everything perfect but still good.

Overpriced Tourist Trap - Don't Believe the Hype! Went here after reading all the positive reviews—big mistake. This place is ridiculously overpriced for what you get. €4 for two pieces of bread? €18 for five shrimp? €10 for nine tiny cod balls? If the food was amazing, maybe I’d understand, but it was barely average at best. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if most of these glowing reviews are fake. The restaurant was nearly empty, which tells you everything. Total tourist trap. If you actually want good food for a fair price, go somewhere else. The only saving grace? We booked through The Fork—at least we didn’t pay full price for this disappointment. Oh yes, if you book with discount on fork you get half the food also. Check the images attached

Paelle was made too quick and was burnt and distasteful. It's happend because the staff forgot about us and our order :( . Additionally, it was expensive (compared to others restaurant).

Food was average. Nothing special. We made advance reservation and was given 30% off discount on the confirmation email. The waiter who took the order came back saying manager didn't approve the 30%. At that time we've already placed the order. So we decided to stay. Seems like inviting guests by giving them percentage off on reservation confirmations but deny upon arrival.

Food tastes good, service is quite fast and they are reactive, also price is cheap for where the place it is. Unfortunately I saw a cockroach and spider on the chair, which disappointed me a bit… However it could have been an isolated case so don’t get influenced, try yourself.
