10/10We have eaten Indian style cuisine all over the world. We have to say the menu at Made in India surpasses all we have had. Those seeking vegetarian food will not be disappointed either. Excellently prepared curries from fresh ingredients, wide and varied menu, exceptional value and very friendly and informative staff. Our first meal there on this first holiday to Albufeira , but most certainly not our last. Fantastic.

10/10We decided to eat at Mother India based on reviews left about the quality of the food, and we were not disappointed, The starters were excellent, my wife had Prawn and I had Chicken, we shared a portion on Onion Bhaji (which were light and very tasty), for mains I had lamb and my wife went for chicken and the sauces were thick, creamy and very tasty, and the pieces of meat were a good size, the rice and naan bread were also of good quality. I don't normally leave leave reviews, but thought this restaurant deserved one, and should we return to Albufeira, we would definitely eat here again.

9/10Great food and great service. Not badly priced. For 4 people mains, rice, breads and drinks (both alcoholic and soft) came to just over 80€ so can't fault it.

10/10Great restaurant. The manger SP was very welcoming and explained to us the whole menu. The food was very tasty and fresh I will be visiting here again when I come back to albuferia and recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Indian restaurant in the Algarve.

10/10Despite being short on staff the waiter made everything he could só our night could be as good as possible. The food was amazing. We ordered chicken korma, chicken tikka massala, lamb curry, chicken tandoori, cheese garlic naan and roti. Everything was amazing. 10/10

Great little Indian Restaurant. Beautiful Lamb Tikka, Samoas and Garlic Chilli Chicken, Coconut Rice and Garlic Naan. Enjoyed every bit. House wine 11euro per bottle, with Red and White both fine. It doesn't look like the Ritz, but it's the quality of food that matters with us and they delivered.Well done!

The food was really great and the staff is very friendly. It was of course not very busy, with all the restrictions going on. But can really recommend this restaurant, especially when you have vegetarians as visitors. they will also have aplenty of choice. Will be back for more soon!

9/10I’m one of those reviewers that only comments on terrible and great meals, with the average left unreviewed. This was a great meal. Service was good, food was excellent. One of the best Indian meals we’ve had. Highly recommended.

5.5/10On a Thursday evening in January we were the only customers so were given our choice of seats and a menu . As the restaurant was quiet we opted for bottled Cobra @ E6. Served in frosted glasses- a nice touch. We decided to share a mixed platter. The selection was nice & though meant for one person it suited us portion wise.We were surprised it came without dips. Next came the Chicken Xacutti -a good sized portion full of chicken with a nice level of heat and a sprinkle of coconut, Lamb Biryani which was on the small size & lacking in Lamb but flavoursome ,and a plain Nan The accompanying sauce for the Biryani was very mild and it was at that point we realised we hadn't been asked about the level of heat in out dish. We also received the dips which should have accompanied our starter. At the end l we were offered free shots to round off the meal but would have preferred complimentary poppadoms and dips at the beginning instead.,

7.5/10It was Our first time trying authentic Indian food and to Our surprise it was good. Portions and pricing was very fair. We choose Mother India because of the reviews. However, the reviews spoke about how good the service was and we didn’t feeling that when we were there. There were only 3 tables, but the two servers were real involved with a large table and they weren’t very attentive to us, even knowing it was Our first time there, much less Our first time eating Indian food. We even had to ask for Our check and the bill did not indicate Our 30% online booking discount. It didn’t appear we received it. I would definitely go back again because of the food was good and hope for better service. It could have just been an off night.

8.5/10Gorgeous food and incredible value. We had 30% off and the entire meal with wine was just €46! We had lots of dishes too. The setting and decor is basic though so nothing flash or upmarket but if you just care about the food then pay a visit.

5/10As soon as we told the waiter we had booked through the fork, we felt he was doing us a favor and a certain arrogance. He even checked more than once if we had booked through the fork as if we were lying to him. While ordering, he literally said : ‘you can order more, anyways you have a discount’. The waiter kept the cutlery and crockery on the table all jumbled up and we had to set the table for ourselves. Tikka masala a bit too sweet, despite ordering medium spicy. Biryani was excellent.

3/10Rushed even though only ones in restaurant. Waiter took plate before starter had been finished. Mains arrived within five minutes so impossible that this was freshly prepared. Suspect a microwave played a big part!!!

9.5/10Very tasty food with strong flavours. Service was attentive throughout although fell away a little after the meal. Reasonably enough priced for a really good meal.
