Had booked table at 19:30 but had to wait 10 minutes at the entrance to get seated. Ordered quickly because we were hungry and got our drinks after a couple of minutes, but it took 45 minutes to get our food. While waiting we got no information about why our food was taking so long and no one asked if we needed anything. When our food finally came almost all other customers had left so we sat almost alone in the restaurant. The food was ok but nothing special. The naan bread was dry. Will choose a different Indian restaurant on the next visit to Stockholm.

We had a dinner with my gf. Overall, the place is pleasant and you won't regret choosing it. However, there are some "buts". We waited quite a while to order, in that time we managed to talk ourselves out of ordering the appetizers. Maybe it was just a busy moment, hard to tell. The stuff is definitely friendly and smiling! Our drinks felt a little bit watered down. Glasses were full though, so mixed feelings about this one. One last thing is when you get in and get a table at the entry section, you feel like the actual restaurant starts in the next room and you can only see that there are some interesting decorations over there.

This is a real gem, we are so glad we found it. Service was outstanding, friendly and relaxed. We had a range of dishes and I can honestly say this was the nicest Indian meal I have ever had. Definitely going back, and highly recommend a visit!

The attitude of the waiters was not ok. I ordered rice but cooked without butter, just oil. They said it is not possible to cook it especially for me??!! They serve the rice what they have cooked already??!!! I do not go to a restaurant to eat something what is cooked before. I expect my dish cooked fresh for me!! This is terrible. I recommend this restaurant to nobody. Do not go!!!!!

A strange mix of middle eastern and Indian dishes none if which offered the expected flavours. They did not have some of the drinks listed on their menu. I would not recommend this restaurant

Booked with a discount through Fork and the restaurant refused to include the discount on the final bill claiming we did not order enough number of main meals to match the number of seats reserved. When asked about it they manually adjusted the discount for some items but had to cancel the reservation through Fork saying different restaurants have different rules. Food was average.

Amazing food, great service, and very friendly atmosphere! This was a perfect spot for our group of 12 on our visit to Stockholm. Would definitely recommend, and hope to be back sometime.

Very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere but not too busy on a Wednesday evening. Good menu choices and the food was fantastic! Would definitely recommend Mother India and if we were staying longer in Stockholm we’d be going back! A great find!

We went for dinner with our two kids (11 and 12). Tried four different dishes. All the food was tasty, Athena waitress was friendly and service-minded, the dining rooms were nice, and the location is good between city and Vasastan. Possibility to sit outside on the sidewalk if you want. We had a lovely experience and warmly recommended this restaurant.

Found a hair in the food. Nothing nice. The witer didn't care. The rice was overcooked and the taste wasn't like Korma . I have been in a loot of India restaurant before. The personal were polite and the place beautiful but expensive for bad quality i gott. Sad.
