Having dinner at Mövenpick was a great experience in a very nice atmosphere! It started with a warm welcome and very friendly service by Sandra and Prince. And the food (prepared by Sudesh and Denym) was absolutely delicious! We can recommend the bavette, Old Amsterdam burger and chocolate cheesecake for sure. Big compliments to the kitchen staff! We are already looking forward to come back again.

The staff was attentive and the food was very good. The restaurant had a buffet dinner for the evening but honoured our TheFork discount without any fuss. Caesar salad, Caprese and cauliflower with cheese were the highlights. The salmon was cooked to perfection.

After finishing starters, we waited nearly an hour for the main courses, which was unacceptable. Every dish was too salty.

The food was okay. Nothing special but the 40% discount we got on our food made it worth going there. The view is excellent and it wasn't too busy. All in all a nice evening although I would prefer to have more vegetarian options.

We had a splendid dinner at Mövenpick. Very friendly service ( thank you Prince and Ines,and colleagues) We enjoyed the steak tartare,the crab cakes ( please leave the pips out of the olives), and the Caesar salad here is the best in toen. Delicious Catch of the day was a juicy piece of Cod ,and also the Salmon with fregola pasta was very tasty. We could not resist the wonderful icecream they serve here. And I found out a gorgeous combination of Creme Brulee with chocolat icecream. Try it !!

Was a little disappointed when we were informed after we finished eating our appetisers (about an hour later) that the salmon that we ordered had run out (No idea what the kitchen was doing because the order was placed). Wanted catch of the day but that was also not available. Saving grace is the server (Princess)was absolute 5* - very hospitable and advised on alternatives. She was apologetic but I doubt it's any fault of hers. I'm pinning it on the kitchen.

Ideally located next to Bimhuis and Muziekgebouw, this is a good spot for a quick and decent dinner. It is a hotel restaurant and breaths this atmostphere (you walk past the breakfast bar en route to your seats). The starters were yummy, mains very bland and choice not too great. For some reason the Fork gave us 40% off the food for one person; that made it all perfectly reasonable. Lovely staff. Try to get a seat by the window so you can see the IJ river.

We enjoyed 2 breakfasts & 2 dinners last week while staying at Amsterdam location. I also stayed a few years ago, enjoyed my stay & chose to return!

how good that you also enjoyed the breakfast, many people do not know that you can also enjoy our exclusive extensive breakfast buffet as a non-hotel guest. the breakfast is open daily from 6.30 to 10.30 and in the weekend from 7.00 to 11.00. reservations are not necessary.

Excellent service! We had a reservation for 9pm however we arrived at 9:30 as there were 2 restaurants and we went to the lounge instead. Staff welcomed us even though we arrived late and were told restaurant will be closing in 30 minutes but they still accommodated us with a smile. Food was excellent we felt satisfied. It was nice to eat a good meal after a long flight.
