best place in brugge for beer and ribbs

Everything was great from start to finish. The food was incredibly, best ribs I've ever had, steak was perfectly cooked, and the ice cream was delish. They made the whole restaurant sing happy birthday for our table and the restaurant itself is such a beautiful venue, feels like you walk into another world. Very lovely staff too. Loved the experience and definitely recommend, would totally come back if I'm ever back in Bruges. Thanks and bravo !

The food was very tasty. I love ribs and these were very nicely done. The issue was when the next ribs came out. Overloaded with salt and spice making them less than desirable. The place is absolute chaos. If you’re looking for a quiet dinner then look elsewhere as this place is fast paced and noisy. We got off to a very poor start. We had a reservation booked and were promptly seated when we arrived only to be accosted by our server, no less, who accused us of jumping the queue and telling us to get back in line for the hostess. The hostess then came by and advised him that we had been seated by her at which point I knew dinner was going to a battle. Trying to pay the bill was nearly impossible as the server is running around like a mad man. Took forever to clear the table of the plates and glasses. Overall it okay if you like noise and chaos. The place is busy with a mix of local guests and tourists. If we make it back to Bruges we will go elsewhere for dinner.

You walk into a small cozy restaurant and then at the end of the hall enter an amazing area of books possibly 10,000 of them and old rail carriage seats and items covering the walls. Great food and attentive staff and good value.

Second visit in 48 hours. Chicken skewer first time and natural ribs this time. Both absolutely delicious. Service fantastic both times. Really good value for money. Highly recommend.

Excellent food quality, service, and nice atmosphere for a family gathering of 5 to enjoy dinner together. An excellent place - definitely recommended.

Food was of good quality (and perhaps a bit too much? 😄). It was quite busy and we were sitting in a corner. It took 30 minutes before we could order anything. The staff works really hard, but they seem to be a bit chaotic and unstructured. Don’t go here for if you are looking for an intimate setting

This is the fifth year in a row that we've started our Bruges weekend in M-MTJR and it never disappoints. They booked us into one of the 'carriage' seats as requested and we received great attentive service throughout. We all had ribs and whilst not the very best we've had, they were tender and tasty, and brilliant for the price point. Tasty sauces and excellent jacket spuds and side salad too. All washed down with their dependable Mozart dark. Excellent again.

In my opinion, this place is a total tourist trap and a victim of its own popularity. Please do not choose this restaurant in Bruges. They force every single person to order both a main course and a drink. I might not want a drink with my meal, or I might want to order it later, but they refused to take the food order without a drink. The waiters are rude and practically mock you. They take advantage of their popularity to impose these ridiculous rules. We waited in line for so long that we didn't want to leave, but it was a frustrating experience. Bruges is a beautiful city, but this restaurant was the worst memory of our trip. Furthermore, when my friend wanted to taste the soup, they told us they couldn't give us an extra spoon. Such a lack of basic hospitality is unacceptable. The prices are also way too high for this kind of service.

The waiter! Excellent English skills. Sense of humor and more than willing to serve you. The food was v.good. the only negative were the small tables for two; like a french cafe bistro. The ribs are served on big plates where you need space!

We had a great experience at Mozart Restaurant. The cheese croquettes were rich, creamy, and perfectly crispy. The all-you-can-eat ribs were incredibly tender, full of flavor, and absolutely delicious. The fish stew gratin had a delicious combination of cod, bass, and salmon that made every bite flavorful and satisfying. The jacket potato paired perfectly with everything. We also enjoyed both draft and bottled beers, which complemented the meal really well. The service was excellent—Kurt, our waiter, was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.

The absolute best restaurant I went in Belgium. The waiters are really nice and the place is just cosy. Food is incredible. There was an ex-firefighter waiter that served us, he is the best:)
