Service was great. Honestly the food was pretty bad. I don’t even know what the starter was, some fried prawn thing but it was awful, cold and soggy. We had carbonara and the duck for main. Carbonara tasted bland. Duck was oozing blood. Really wouldn’t go back even with the discount. Sorry 🥴

I ordered an Aperol Spritz, but it came in a glass that was less than half full, and the taste wasn’t great. The ice also seemed cheap and melted too quickly. The food itself was okay, but the service didn’t quite meet my expectations

This restaurant tries to stand out but doesn’t quite succeed. The dining room is small and cramped, with tables placed too close together. The décor, modern and arty with a favela-inspired touch, is visually interesting but feels more suited to a casual snack bar than a proper dinner setting. On the positive side, the food was well-prepared and fresh, with attractive presentation. Portions were modest but satisfying, and the chef’s skill is evident. However, the style of the food and the atmosphere do not fit comfortably together, leaving the overall experience confused. The most disappointing aspect was that the only beef dish on the menu was unavailable at 8 p.m. on a Saturday in Florence, a city where beef is central to the cuisine. Being offered a burger instead felt poorly planned and unprofessional. In summary, while the cooking shows talent, the restaurant lacks identity and reliability. For travelers with limited time in Florence, it may be too uncertain a choice.

I arrived (in rain) in time for my booking at 7 pm, only to be told that the restaurant had changed the time to 7.45 pm. I got no email/notification of this change via TheFork. (what is the point of a reservation if it can be changed without notifying you?). I returned at 7.45 pm. The food was ok (my meat was nice and tender, the grilled vegetables were grilled slices of courgette).

Maybe I booked it too early (6:15pm). The chef took our order, which was better. Anyway, my expectation might have been too high. The tartare wasn’t that good like the photo shown. I had one in Siena at my lunch time on the same day and that was much better. My husband ordered a pasta and it didn’t come out but we didn’t bother to point it out as we wanted to leave as soon as my son finished his spaghetti. At least my son had his meal. We could see the chef cooking, which was good.

A nice small bistro with creative food. Limited menu but quality food. We had as starters the carbonara pasta and a potato mousse with organic egg concoction. Both had truffle shavings. And both were delicious. I then had the octopus ….and my companion had the burger. The octopus was perfectly cooked and very nice. The burger was a little disappointing. We concluded with a tiramisu and a brownie dessert. Overall a nice experience…..talented and creative chef . Good service .

I was the only diner. The food was not bad, but just ok. I wondered why no one was there but me. This restaurant got great reviews and that’s why I chose it, but the ambience was non existent and the food forgettable.

Wonderful staff, very good fresh food, great price/quality ratio. The only big downside: the chairs! Awfully uncomfortable, we both had back pain by the end of the evening. Luckily, the service was fast and we could go home soon enough!
