8.5/10Good Saturday lunch ahead of RWC fixture at Pierre Mauroy. Great interaction with staff and other diners. Would definitely return if I should find myself in Lille again.

3/10The food left a lot to be desired. We had chicken breast that was so dry my jaw ached from breaking it down. The portions where very small and we felt extremely disappointed by the whole meal.

2/10We had made a reservation, but when we arrived, the owner refused us because we had a dog (a very quiet Labrador). Although there was still plenty of place, he claimed that the dog was ‘too big’ and that they only allowed small dogs. This was not specified on the website. There were no excuses. We felt this was very impolite, but we just left. If you have a dog, avoid this restaurant.

2/10Worst experience ever! The waiter was extremely unkind, he didn’t give us the menu but he throw it! it was very hot and we wanted to order drinks very quickly. So my friend asked: what kind of beer do you have? the waiter said: you have everythingin the menu.. It was so rude! We couldn’t order drinks because he left us and he run somewhere. After that we have waited 15 min!! he didn’t put any attention on us! so we decided to leave from this restaurant. Unfortunately it was not the end.. the waiter came to us when we were in front of the restaurant and he started discussion. He was so unkind! He used really bad expressions like: I’m not your sleave! he used bad French word.. I was shocked! it was the first time in France when I received that bad experience. do not go there!

10/10We booked this as one of very few restaurants open on Sunday in Lille and also noted the excellent reviews. A hidden gem just down a side street off the main square in a quiet, unassuming setting. Booking was an absolute must. The service was very attentive from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. The food was quick to serve. The flavours were rich and exquisite and beautifully presented with great attention to detail. Real authentic french cuisine with a modern, stylish twist. I would highly recommend this restaurant for tasty fine dining at a reasonable but not cheap price. We thought it worth it however.

9.5/10We chose this restaurant carefully based on previous reviews and were really pleased with the quality of food, the inentiveness of the ingredients and presentation of the different dishes. We were made to feel welcome and the service was attentive. Would recommend.

9.5/10A little gem hidden off the Grand Place. Small and intimate with a relaxed atmosphere. Food was modern Flemish but delicate flavours and really excellent. Carafe wine very palatable and good value. Recommended.

10/10Read reviews about this restaurant on tripadvisor so decided to visit. We had a wonderful evening. The food and service were first class. The waiter was absolutely brilliant explaining the menu to us as I think we were the only English people eating there. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. We would definitely recommend and hope to return again.

6.5/10Some very good food but also some serious concerns given the price. The meal was 150 Euros for two for the "menu" including one half a bottle of wine, two flutes of champagne, two cafes and a liter of water. Superb flavors. However, an amuse-bouche, two entrées and a plat were *all* fish based. Only the desert (obviously) was not. Without being offered any choice, it felt a bit too much mer que terre. Second, 48 euros for the menu was expensive. It was good but not 48 Euros good given I left the restaurant hungry, the desert was nothing special (a fairly simple pastry), and neither water nor coffee were included. Further, why were our wine glasses taken away when given the champagne apero but then no carte de vin was offered for the meal? We had to ask after the 2nd entrée. This seems like a fairly serious omission of service. Obviously we were drinking. Never experienced this issue in any other restaurant in three years living in France.

8/10Limited choice on the menu but the food was well presented and very imaginative. I had never eaten black rolls before but these were fresh and delicious. The desserts were lovely too. If we visit Lille again we would be happy to return to this restaurant.

7/10A very welcoming and friendly restaurant. They went out of their way to try and explain every dish however every course was bland and ingredients that were promised eg mussels were absent and had to be added after a complaint.
