By far my favorite food in Sorrento this visit. Giuseppe working the front and Chef Luigi in the kitchen, both owning and pouring love and culture into the whole dining experience, I don't know how anyone could not love this place. Their mother must be a really special lady. Make a reservation and enjoy. You will not be disappointed. Perfect tastes and textures showcased with love and laughter. Do yourself a favor and order something off the specials menu!

10/10A lovely family-run trattoria restaurant on Piazza SantAntonina 18/19 in downtown Sorrento! The pasta is fresh and the dishes are delicious and reasonably priced. Our personable server Rosaría was delightful and welcoming. All the servers seemed attentive and friendly. I highly recommend NaLu and suggest you book ahead.

6/10I really wanted to love it, but the food was really disappointing. Service was very friendly, and the wine pairing was solid. Our family couldn’t identify a single dish that we thought was excellent, thought. I would avoid (sad to say).

9.5/10Excellent food and very good, friendly, knowledgeable service. We had a thoroughly enjoyable dining service on the two occasions that we ate here during our holiday. My only minor criticism is that the premises are small and some of the tables are a bit crammed together, so I'd suggest making a reservation and requesting a table with some space. Otherwise, fantastic!

10/10Lovely meal, great service and nice atmosphere. This was our second visit this trip! Get the octopus, grilled calamari, sea bass and zucchini flowers and leave very happy.

First of all, our reservation was not made, although we had received confirmation from Fork. Secondly, Home made pasta with seafood was quite soft and seafood was overcooked. After we fiinished our meal, we did not order anything which made them unhappy and repeatedly asked us “why “. System, food, and service didn’t reach our expectations.

10/10Our server, Rosaria, was simply the best! Friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable about the amazing menu. Wish we lived there so we could dine there frequently. This was our favorite meal during our trip!

Giuseppe and two other servers took exceptional care of us. The stater, first course, second course and the desserts were outstanding! The wine was also superb! The restaurant is very open and we met the very talented chef! We highly recommend dining at this wonderful restaurant!

The food was just okay- my steak was overcooked and tough. The waiter brought out bread but didn’t bring plates or balsamic vinegar and oil. I had to ask but it took forever to flag down a waiter. They also seated us at a super small table and so they wooden bring out all of our order at the same time since they said there wouldn’t be room on the table- and so when my entree- the steak came, it was obvious it had been kept warm under a heat lamp and just wasn’t the experience I wanted. The seafood pasta plate was okay- that’s what my husband ordered but nothing special. Wouldn’t go back as there are so many other good restaurants in Sorrento.

6.5/10Food was pretty good, staff was trying but clearly short staffed. Staff did not exhibit level of professionalism we’ve become accustomed to in similar restaurants. Ambience was bright cafeteria lighting. I would not go back.

9.5/10I had a lovely family meal last week in Nalu. The staff were lovely and the food was great. We had bruschetta and swordfish starters, and they were full of flavour. The expresso martini was beautiful and our main meals, ravioli was just so tasty. I would definitely recommend the food and I can not fault the staff, they were excellent. My only disappointment was the condition of the female toilet, no toilet seat?? Maybe it’s an Italian thing. Hopefully they will repair this issue , and this restaurant would get a 10/10 that it deserves.

+1Giuseppe Looked after us with excellent advice about dishes and all the while tolerating our British humor. The food was excellent and the drinks were great. The restaurant filled up quickly and there was soon a line of people out of the door, although swamped, the other wait staff were courteous and attentive. Be sure to make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

4/10I know the stereotypical consensus of the service in Europe in general is not adequate. But our experience last night at this restaurant in terms of service goes was not good at all. 2 dinners came out 5 minutes before the other 2 dinners. No explanation or apology from the service staff. I felt like we had to track down the service staff for everything we wanted. We waited a while after we were finished with our dinner for them to come and remove the plates at which time I made sure I placed my dessert order because I wasn’t sure when they would be back to see if we wanted anything else. The food was good, not anything spectacular. In fact if the food stood out I wouldn’t have minded so much about the service. There are plenty of places to eat in Sorrento, I’d choose somewhere else.

4/10Booked a table and was seated at a waiting table for 10 mins, there were other tables available? Served bread and olive oil no side plates to put oil/vinegar in. Had to ask for first course to be cleared from table, no one asked us if everything was OK. A few of the mussels in my husbands meal remained closed therefore edible. Food OK.

10/10Lovely family-run restaurant with warm, welcoming service, and fresh delicious food. The wine was perfectly chilled, and quite refreshing. Pasta was cooked to al dente perfection with an abundance of clams and mussels. Highly recommend!

6/10Had a White House wine and it’s the first time out here in Italy were it tasted old or bad. The lady attending us was very nice but not very attentive to the customers as we needed to catch her attention various times to get other items. Food was not bad, the lobster pasta was pretty good overall, the clam one was alright.
