We came with high expectations and chose the 7-course tasting menu, The ambiance and causality of the service didn’t match the price point or did justice to the refined flavors. A two and half hours duration left us with no desire to return.

A memorable experience, on a special date: my birthday! The menu was very balanced, original and well executed. I loved all of the moments. The Chef came to the table and was very nice. The setting is beautiful, overlooking a pool and a view of the countryside with a windmill in the distance. But the cherry on top of the cake was the service by Rodrigo Santos, who was exceptional in every way: knowledgeable, attentive and playful. He definitely made the whole evening so much more enjoyable and unique. Thank you! I plan to return!

A positive experience diferent modern, i liked it. Also very good service, and cosy atmosfere. Decoration good. Still. i go some times to this concept restaurants, Hugo Nascimetno is a very good Chef, but honestly i did not fell the UAU efect. Maybe expectatiosn were high but the Menu with 4 couses (with a plus starter) did not did it for me. Quality of the prpoduct was good but no surprise in presentation or flavours, and for such a rich regional products and all that comes form that area, did not felt the heart of Costa Vicentina in here. There was no surprise for me, no flavours, aromas, that transported me to this area, this Coast. I did not see Surprise, irreverance, land and sea coming together. No personality of Costa Vicentiva. Was not exciting. And for the the Menu price feels just like a modern restaurant with High level tourist prices.

We were searching for a new restaurant in the Algarve, and found this one through the Michelin guide. After reading the reviews, we had high expectations. On entering the restaurant, we were impressed with the ambiance, as it offered a nice scenic view of the countryside. The waiter presented the menu, but lacked subtlety. We decided to go for the 7-course meal, as recommended in the reviews. However, they didn't ask about any dietary restrictions or allergies. The first course was a nice starter, and it set the stage for what we expected to be a great experience. However, after the bread, the rest of the courses were less than special. We had the carrot salad which was quite nice and had some good flavors, but after that, the sweet potato ravioli was dry and lacked any special taste, in my personal opinion. Next was the kale & octopus roll which was a big disappointment. I am a big fan of octopus, but it was overcooked and very chewy. Then, for the second main course, we had what I believe to be turkey, which was just dissatisfying. The desserts were nice. Overall, the evening was lovely, but as the waiters never really explained the dishes, they simply did not make sense. It was not worth the €90 experience we had hoped for.

Exquisite in every way. The four-course menu was just enough food for us, but we loved every bite so much that we wish we had opted for the 7-course menu. The staff were sweet, earnest, and attentive. We enjoyed the ambiance. We hope to return.

The Restaurant is a unique gem in Odeceixe. Chef Hugo and his Team provide a superb Menu with an outstanding Service in a very nice athmoshere (a little less light woild be great). We enjoyed every course and had choosen the 7 courses. Completed by a selection of fine wines we say thank you for an evening we surely will keep in mind as an highlight.

The small restaurant is styled with artworks corresponding to what they do: excellent and modern kitchen. We liked the small derails like stones from the beach as benches for the knifes. Everything they do seems to be easy but is a proof of excellence. We had a wonderful table with views to the windmill and the pool. Thans a lot.

The location is excellent, expectations were high. We chose the set menu with 4 dishes. Amuse-bouche was fine; nothing extra-ordinary, though. Then, for each person one slice of bread, a few crackers, and some dips - mostly tasty, but the peanut butter should better be left out. The seafood-based starter was original and good. Then, a small slice of monkfish, but almost no side dishes, more bread wasn't offered either. Next, the waiter asked whether we wanted a dessert. Asking what the alternative would be, he said we could also switch to the bigger menu. We chose to stick with the smaller menu, and the dessert was served. This was really disappointing, the flavours were not well balanced, a mix of too sweet and too salty. We had many delicious desserts in Portugal, this was by far the worst. When the bill came, we finally understood why the menu was called a "surprise menu". The dessert was charged extra. In the 4-dishes menu, the amuse-bouche and the slice of bread (one per person!) were counted as separate dishes, and a highly overcharged dessert was added to the bill. There was no indication at all that the dessert was not included in the menu. A total lack of information in the menu card - indeed there's a surprise, and it's a very bad one. We've been to Portugal regularly, visited countless restaurants all over the country, but never had such a bad experience before. The policies of this restaurant are totally unacceptable - a place to be avoided absolutely. It's a pity, because the setting is splendid.

We had a wonderful meal, Each dish was unique, delightfully presented and delicious. They provided a vegetarian options for each of 7 courses (alerted ahead)) - many were playful and creative, all delicious. We felt they truly enjoyed our pleasure in the exceptional experience they provided.. Not to be missed!
