8.5/10Cute restaurant just over the bridge from the centre. Lots of different dining areas. Food was good but not the best we’ve had. Service was excellent though.

7/10It was medium quality food, nothing special. The very young and inexperienced waiters did the best they could, but just not enough to impact evaluation. The restaurant is however beautiful, beautifully decorated and the staff very welcoming.

9.5/10Good choice of authentic Italian food combined with good service. Place was tucked away off main tourist routes but it had a stay stream of people and was busy all evening so recommend booking! Very reasonable price. We were recommended it by friends and glad we went!

9/10Wonderful meal and very nice service by he sea bass was exceptional and so was the spaghetti with shrimp, zucchini and zucchini flowers (best parts dish I’ve had in a long time). Prices are reasonable and restaurant is outside the hustle and bustle of the city. Nice mix of locals and tourist. Definitely recommended.

9/10+3The service is super!! Beautiful antique house with romantic atmosphere. Love hot apple pie(a bit too sweet) done in this way. Price is reasonable. Not easy to find the place.

10/10The food was really fresh and the taste was authentic. Please order the house wine as it is extremely good. We ordered 4 pastas and all of them had a unique taste. Really happy we could try this authentic place in Florence

8.5/10Very pretty inside - lovely meal with friends. Was quite busy so service was a little slower at times but didn’t effect our evening. Shame we didn’t get to try the tiramisu.

10/10Super charming or romantic, good for both vibes! The setting was like being in a medieval castle with various seating arrangements, all lovely! Food was excellent and fresh, service friendly and not too expensive! A beautiful place; I will be going back again!

3/10We went to this restaurant with very high expectations. Unfortunately, I must say that I was disappointed. The reception was overly cold, nothing like other restaurants in Italy. The food didn't meet our expectations at all. The pancetta in the carbonara was uncooked, the gnocchi was tasteless, the dishes were unfinished, and nobody asked what was wrong with them. A real letdown.

10/10We have visited the Oltrarno for extended visits for the last three years. We alway make a point to dine ar Napoleone at least once. In 2022 we had a party of nine family members that was expertly handled including three children. We returned a week later with friends. We are always welcomed, the food is wonderful and we leave knowing we will return.

10/10Went with friends... the food and the ambiance were awesome! Had the chef recommended pasta and the shrimp risotto both were amazing. The staff was great. Had a bad rain storm and water came onto the restaurant floor, and the staff quickly tried to mop it up. They were apologetic for nature.. couldn't have been nicer. Definitely would go back!

5.5/10Have come here many times but this latest time I had the worst service I’ve ever gotten. Took an hour to even get our wine. 20 minutes after placing our order the server came back saying he had forgotten our order. 1,5h after sitting down I was given the wrong food and they tried to make me pay for the more expensive meal that I did not order. The waitress that sat us was very helpful and apologetic, she is the only person that made the experience less bad. Food is still good, but the service left a bad taste in my mouth…

10/10We have dined here also in 2022 twice during our one month stay in Oltrarno. Once with an extended family group of ten….the staff and restaurant easily handled our party! Another visit with two friends was equally wonderful. This visit was just the two of us and we were never rushed and the meals were perfectly prepared. Highly recommend!!

7/10The restaurant atmosphere was charming yet perhaps a little too cozy. The tables were crammed together. Although we arrived fairly early (1830) for our dinner there was only one remaining serving of a fish dish. The restaurant was out of any remaining fish choices. The pasta dishes were flavorful but were only slightly warm and would have been much better if served hot. The bread was marginal. Our waitress did a great job but had to manage an entire room with several tables.

10/10Napoleone is a great spot. The staff are very nice and the food is fantastic, I really love the gnocchi with gorgonzola and truffles. Even the bread they bring out is better than the average Florentine restaurant!

9.5/10Can be a little hard to find in a corner of Piazza del Carmine. But well worth the trouble as this is an excellent restaurant with good food, a pleasant environment and a fantastic staff. WE had a fantastically nice evening there. A special thanks to the waitress Judy.

8/10The cook is fantastic. The spices on the marinera pizza and the bread are incredible. Everything is very fresh. Our server the night before was very attentive and lovely, the server on the following night (the 30th) was a little impatient and did not follow our request to have one glass of wine, but rather pushed a whole bottle on us. But, the restaurant needs to make money, so she was likely doing what was best. All in all, a fantastic experience.

6/10The food left so much to be desired. The pici was very bland just sausage oil and noodles, while the gnocci had way too much truffle in the sauce. The nice server was very kid but extremely overworked. I feel so bad for her!
