The food was excellent. It’s nice that the servers don’t bug you, however you have to stop them anytime you want a drink. Well priced too for the food! Would definitely eat there again. A highlight is when they bring out a huge cheese wheel and roll your pasta around in it. Mmmmmmm

It would be good to improve the service, the restaurant is good, the food is more than good, but the service, waiting 30 minutes for the waiter to come is unacceptable.

We arrived for a birthday dinner for my 15 year old daighter with my family of 5. We were seated and basically ignored for 2.5 hours. A huge table behind us received all the attention and we were left waiting for our main course for 2 hours. Every table around us was served but when we said for the third time we wanted our food, the older of the waiters started to argue with us and act very defensive. I asked for e bill and left. A terrible experience and a horrible level of service. Will never go back and we have been there before so this is not a judgment I am happy making.

We lived in the area 22 years ago and Napoli was our favorite restaurant. We hadn’t been back in two decades and were happy to go a little bit out of our way to visit. Best decision ever. It is still as good as ever, the best pasta and the friendliest staff. We had a lovely dinner.

Coming there for many many years and it is still the best Italian restaurant around. Quality is always as good as it can be and the prices are very reasonable. The core staff are there for years as well and it feels like we got old together ????.

If you want to taste real Italian dishes this is the place. Service quality and speed also good. All the people who works there are friendly and welcoming.

Even with reservation for a table we have to wait for 20 minutes before to be seated. The service was very warm and welcoming. The food was rather average.

The staff and the food… All was amazing! The best pizza I have ever eaten in the world besides Italy. Pizza Napoli is highly recommended. One of the best restaurants in Haarlem.

What a wonderfull night. Great and attentive staff, delicious food. Great restaurant, go if you are able to. Italy was nearby tonight. Choose the veal with gorgonzola, the best i've had so far.

Due to COVID we had not had the mozeralla from Puglia for a whole year. It was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient. So glad to be able to return to this fantastic restaurant.

Order the special Gerardo Flambé pasta! It is Prima! Very nice atmosphere and great food, true Italian ingredients and recipe! Very nice service

Very average quality, typical tourists place To offer Alba truffles do not help at all if a lot of convenience is used... Never the less Haarlem is a great place to eat

We have been coming to eat here for the last 20 years. This is the best Italian food in Haarlem, a real family atmosphere with high quality ingredients.

This family owned restaurant (they had their 53rd anniversary the other day) is always very hospitable and has a professional staff, although the young waiter had no clue about the anniversary when we congratulated him. A little odd. First, we picked a nice bottle of 2016 Primitivo di Manduria, a full bodied red wine which matched perfectly with the pasta and cheese dishes we ordered. For appetizers we had two types of bruschetta and rosemary focaccia. The focaccia tasted really great; simplicity at its best. The bruschetta wasn’t toasted and the slices were far too thick, which made it taste soggy instead of crispy. The Carpaccio al Parmigiano con Rucola was perfect; a well balanced combination of beef tenderloin, rucola, capers, Parmigiano and good olive oil. After that, the pasta al Parmigiano di Gerardo was served, the signiture dish of the restaurant, flambéed at the table with whiskey in a big Parmigiano cheese, served with green spaghetti. The ritual was executed a lttle too fast and the spaghetti, which was a bit overcooked, was draped on our plate which resulted in a sloppy mountain and two very unequal portions. It tasted just okay. A bit of a bummer. We skipped the tiramisu and asked for a small scoop of lemon ice cream instead. Summary: perfect wine, focaccia, and carpaccio. Not so perfect bruschetta and pasta al Parmigiano.

I had to wait 25 minutes after being seated for anyone to even offer me water or to take my drink order. It was the longest Inever have waited for service, and I almost walked out. After that it was a reasonably pleasant experience. I would never return.

We did get some free bread and butter as a teaser, always nice. Although.... the bread was not warm, and the herb butter was margarine, a missed chance :-( Pasta Parmigiano di Gerardo was okay, nice ritual to flambe the pasta at the table. Maybe a bit too much parmigiano cheese. EUR 109 for 3 people, 3 courses each, including drinks

We went to the restaurant very early - 4ish - and were surprised by the quality of food. Everything was freshly prepared and was simply delicious - both starters and main dish. The service was excellent - invisible, but always around, ready to address the specific needs, including the meals which were not in the menu (a starter of fried vegetables). A real taste of Italian cuisine, topped off by excellent wine and espresso. Highly recommendable. And a minor detail - coming from Amsterdam we were stunned by the cleanliness and decor of the toilet facilities - rarely seen in Amsterdam.
