Utterly astonished and gobsmacked by the food. Best in town — and I say that as someone who travelled all the way from Hong Kong, a city flooded with nothing but top-notch restaurants. One must bear in mind that this is a family-run restaurant. Don't use fine dining as a benchmark. That said, the quality is soaring. The attention to detail, the creativity, and the execution are beyond words. If one must nitpick, the yakitori lobster isn't really yakitori per se — but who cares when the chef so cleverly captures the essence of yakitori in an entirely different way? In fact, I'm writing this as I wait for dessert — that's how eager I am to sing its praises. Highly recommend if you're in town.

There were only two people preparing a very challenging multi course meal for the entire restaurant, so the main course arrived so late I ate too much bread and starter and lost my appetite before it arrived. I think the restaurant was too brightly lit. The food was good, but I couldn’t enjoy it because it took so long.

This is a hidden gem in Sorrento. It’s a small intimate restaurant with 2 chefs making really creative and high quality food. Our server was very attentive and gracious. Make sure you make a reservation in advance , it was empty when we first arrived but was full when we were leaving. We even saw them have to turn people away with no reservation. If you happen to be lucky enough to be there during truffle season, ask for the special black truffle pasta. It was amazing!

Special food in an intimate restaurant where the cooking is for you! For a special occasion!

A hidden gem in Sorrento! Ndrè offers refined dishes rooted in Campanian tradition with a modern twist: beautifully presented, full of flavor, and supported by warm, attentive service. Portions are delicate but every bite is memorable. Perfect for those looking for an intimate fine-dining experience away from the tourist bustle.

Food, atmosphere, service.

As forewarning to others, Ndrè was way more upscale than we were expecting, and we found ourselves out of our element as we’re not particularly fancy people, and aren’t accustomed to some of the quirks of fine dining. The food was Michelin-style, and portions small, but what we did get was absolutely delicious, and the family that runs it is so endearing and caring. Thank you for such a great meal, and for dealing with a young couple after a bottle of wine!

A must try when in Sorrento. A friend had told us about it after eating there last year. 5 star dinner and ambience in a quaint 6 table restaurant. A local location combined with Chef Andre’s new twist on classic dishes. The layers of flavors are outstanding. Give it a try. You will have a great evening.

Creative flavor explosion is the best way to highlight a wonderful dining experience. Each course was perfectly executed with well balanced yet complex flavor profiles. 12 out of 10 will absolutely be going back!

The husband and I had already been in Sorrento for three nights and were quite disappointed with our food experiences so far. The restaurants we were recommended were big, touristy, without charm or great service. I scoured the restaurant guide at our hotel The Ara Maris until I found this Restarant that was described as charming with delicious food and wonderful service. We were Not Disappointed! Wow, from the homemade bread that seriously was the best I’ve ever eaten in an Italy and I’ve traveled extensively, to the eggplant Parmesan appetizer, so delicately flavored and just fantastico! We loved every dish, the preparation, the presentation, and our server was so helpful and kind. They only have 6/7 tables so the modern yet comfortable atmosphere is intimate and non touristy feeling, even though we were all tourists, we felt special. Thank You, Thank You for the best dining experience in Sorrento!

The dishes are creative, well-though out, and unique - without being pretensious. If you are looking for traditional approaches and the 'home-made shtick' then best to stay with the touristy city center of Sorrento. Ndre is for folks who want dishes that standout from the norm and that reward curious eaters. Unfortunately the decor and ambiance does not match the cuisine, but worth seeking out all the same.

+1We enjoyed an incredible meal at Ndrè. It’s a small intimate restaurant outside the more touristy areas and is definitely worth a visit if you’re serious about food. Everything from the octopus salad to the homemade desserts had an amazing depth of flavor. Service was charming and perfect—they really care about your experience.

Small, cute place with fantastic food and a cozy vibe. More people should come visit this spot instead of choosing the tourist options in the very city center.

We loved this intimate restaurant for its lovely service, beautiful, creative menu and calm ambience. The turbot was perfection and my daughter who is vegetarian, announced that the ravioli was the best pasta she's ever had. Grazie mille

Extremely tasty special of the day with homemade pasta and truffle sauce. Dessert special was a raspberry tart that was just wonderful. Good wine and service throughout. However, upon asking for the bill only the main meals were discounted by 20% (€35 per main course) but not on the dessert (€14). Some unnecessary discussion took place before ‘an exception’ was granted for the full discount on all the food. The food and ambience was great.
