10/10I stumbled upon this place and was not disappointed that I did so. I end up enjoying lasagna the first day and an appetizer of sheep cheese with pears and I was blown away by both. I decided to go back two days later for appetizers and the charcuterie was amazing. The owner has a great place with great food. I loved it. I highly recommend trying this place.

9/10Had been to this restaurant two years ago and was keen to return with my husband. The home cooked food is delicious and they had some lovely wine choices. The disposable plates are not usually to my taste but the food makes up for it and the wonderful chianti.

10/10After a full day in Siena from Florence, coming back and having a wonderful dinner, and most excellent glass of house red was exactly what I needed! I thoroughly enjoyed everything including the fantastic service. I had the pear and pecorino, and then the Pappardelle with cinghale and it could not have be the more perfect ending to my day! Being from Oregon, I totally appreciated and respected their, contribution to carbon impact!

10/10I go here often because I love this tiny bistrot. No pretensions, just good food, wine, and service. The crostone are wonderful: I love truffle honey poured over cheese and walnuts--a dish not on other menus. Typical Tuscan cuisine is at the heart of the bistrot but it's elevated.

10/10We loved this cozy wine bar/restaurant with a relaxed vibe. It was fun selecting albums to play on the turntable to create our own ambiance. We had the place to ourselves at 6:30 for an apericena. The tartare was phenomenal. The best I've ever had. We chose the egg, burrata, tomatoes and capers to accompany ours. Pastas were delicious and we also ordered the Peposo which we enjoyed very much. We even bought a few bottles of wine to take home. Highly recommend!!!

4/10The reviews were raves but the place was really a little deli type place with paper plates (Italian bureaucracy they said?) and just a few tables. We didn't have much but it wasn't extraordinary. Maybe for a quick lunch or takeout?

We are very sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy even if you only had some pears with pecorino cheese and a big salad and none of the typical tuscan products that we serve, but we would be glad to have you back to let you taste them. As for the paper plates, as we explained when you were here, we are not a restaurant but a small gastronomic bistrot, and we are not allowed to use normal cutlery because of our license. Hope to have you back to change your mind.

10/10Fantastic home-cooked food. The ‘make your own’ beef tartare was a great addition and the young owner/manager couldn’t have been more helpful in terms of choosing dishes and wine. A really great find!

10/10This restaurant was a great find. We ordered the beef tartare was really good. What made it special was the complimentary 3 toppings. The crispy onion, dry tomatoes and balsamic sauce were excellent to taste.

10/10The best meal we’ve had in Firenze. Local product, great wine, and cozy feel from a family run business. The burrata and pane were fresh and the tartar and tortelli we’re out of this world. We would return the next night if we had another night in the city.

10/10This cozy restaurant does everything right. Excellent service, cozy atmosphere, and a superb wine selection. But the food is the big, bright, shining star here. Unique, interesting, and delicious dishes that are well-prepared will cause you to eat far more than you should. I highly recommend the crostone, the guacia, and tortella. We didn't try their specialty, tartare, but it looked and sounded amazing.

10/10Tiny, atmospheric restaurant dedicated to traditional Tuscan dishes and produce and run by enthusiastic and knowledgeable young staff. Disposable plates and wooden cutlery do not damage the quality of the food. Excellent "design your own" beef tartare from local sources allows choices of flavouring and sauces. Tortelli of mushrooms and truffle was delicate but distinctive. Cinghiale in umido deeply savoury. Not expensive. Excellent.

10/10What a charming little restaurant this is. Everything is super casual, from the wooden forks and knives to the conversation that is bound to develop between yourself and the very young proprietor. The food quality, however, is everything but. I was served quite possibly the best steak tartare I've ever had, as well as an incredible pasta dish. (Both were generously covered in truffle shavings.) The house wine is also quite above par...we liked it so much we took home a bottle. For a low-key afternoon or evening meal this is just about perfect.

7/10Welcome by a lovely waiter. The restaurant is small and feels authentic. A lot of details in the interior. The menu is small but well balanced around their strengths. Good ingrediens carefully picked. We enjoyed the staters the most. Had tartar as Main dish. It was good, but simply top much meat to sides/ratio. Could not finish the meal. Prices are slightly above average. Cool

10/10The meal here was the best we had in Florence.. Everything was top quality. Guests should be prepared for paper plates and wooden cutlery, and for a more limited menu than most Tuscan restaurants, but working within these constraints, the proprietors have excelled. The “cutboards” - sharing platters of Tuscan meats and cheeses are strongly recommended - the medium size makes for a generous appetiser for four people.

8.5/10loved the atmosphere and quality of wine available both by the glass and bottle.. A bit disappointed in the food, wasn't quite what I expected as far as flavour, however this is most likely due to our region making amazing cinghiale. Service was amazing; attentive but never intrusive. nice options to create your own sharing platters. small and intimate, reservation prior is strongly recommended.

10/10Not at all what we expected but amazfood & service was second to none. Never in my life did i expect to have tartare on a paper plate with wooden cutlery...but i did & disconcerting as the crockery & cutlery were, the tartare was excellent! We had a fantastic shared antipasti platter & a tuscan stew & a tiramisu made by tge staff's mum....all excellent. Go for the unusual experience & the great food. No standing on ceremony here.

10/10This was the best restaurant we visited in Florence! They had a big table waiting for our family of 5 with a warm welcome as we arrived drenched from the rain. The food was amazing. Tuscan traditional local specialties with some modern twists. Their house red Chianti was so good we purchased a bottle to go!
