Our last meal in Cortona and it was soooooo good! We sat downstairs in the stone cellar and the ambiance was 100% on point. Food was Dlicious, albeit the lamb portion was too small, so they brought out 2 more lamb portions because they admitted it was too small. Attentive Service and wine selection was very appreciated

A lovely evening, excellent appetizers and pasta, friendly service. Really enjoyed the local wine.

The food was 'ok' service was haphazard. Starters arrived but the wine we ordered had not. One of those wines was off, probably due to being stored near or in direct sunlight/heat. The Owner/Manager refused to replace the wine or even come downstairs to discuss. Poor. Downstairs is quite hot and no air con. Managed to request a fan to be switched on but that worked intermittently. We ate at 5 other restaurants in Cortona, this ranked 5th.

The guy waiter was very observant and helpful which was very nice, but the girls that walked around looked like they really didn’t want to be there. At one time one of the girls even rolled their eyes at a friend of mine from the table cause she didn’t saw that the waiter was trying to hand her the wine menu due to a conversation with someone else. Not the kind of reaction to expect.

Service was great, very friendly and kind. We had a party of 8; mostly everyone was happy enough with the food, but a couple dishes were poorly executed. (undercooked beans, and fried appetizer was not fried at high enough heat). But the people were great, and our party had a fun time. Staff was also helpful with wine choices.

We really enjoyed our lunch. The location is excellent, in the historic center. The weather was nice so we sat outside but there is plenty of room inside downstairs. We loved the dishes we ordered, the truffle dishes, the steak and the lamb chops. The chef came out to check on us and was very nice. The rest of the staff were also very nice. It's nice to combine a stroll through the alleys of Verona and feel the magic of the city.

Portion size on the specials menu was very very small. Food was average and service okay.
Nessun DormaScusami se ti rispondo in italiano, ma qui siamo! Credo che tu sia un po' confuso poiché dici che il servizio era ok ,poi gli dai 4. Su una cosa però hai ragione, anche io se avessi mangiato solo un contorno mi sarei lamentata delle porzioni piccole, ma per fortuna ci sono le foto degli altri commensali che dimostrano il contrario. Ti ringrazio, ti saluto e ti auguro un buon soggiorno nella mia città

One of the best restaurants in Cortona, and certainly the most beautiful. Service and food were excellent. Don't miss dining here!

Everything OK in February (2025). Location is in a cave with a very steep stairway down. Antipasti and primi are fine. Meat called filetto is good but probably rather controfiletto or similar.

as it was low season, the place was quite empty. The food was very well made Tuscan style and the service was very friendly. We will go again for sure

Went for lunch mid January 2025. Very welcoming and friendly staff, sat downstairs. Comfortable. The staff were attentive and chatty. Ribollita soup starter, I had ravioli main , colleague polenta with wild boar. Glass of local Syrah red, coffee. Chef came out to chat. Very enjoyable lunch

Perfect meal at a charming restaurant, and very fair prices.

I chose this restaurant because it had a gluten free menu (since I am celiac), but I ended up getting severe symptoms of gluten exposure, which affected me for a few day. Very disappointed.

We had a lovely dinner at Nessum Dorna. We try to come here every time we come to Cortona and we were not disappointed.

Had a lovely meal. Sat outside on the terrace overlooking the Piazza. Service was just right, food was excellent and we had a thoroughly good experience.

The service was great, our table outside was in a perfect spot and our dinner was quite good. Would definitely recommend.

Food was delicious, staff very pleasant, but the waiting time for the main course was not acceptable (~1 hour from placing the order)

The atmosphere and food were great! Our server was a young lady who seemed to be mad at the world and she rolled her eyes several times and quite frankly seemed to be angry for having to work. She was very slow to respond to our requests and it just made the experience less than perfect. Overall it was great as we were on vacation however her attitude was not professional nor helpful!

we loved the food, the wine. The staff was correct and did their best. they had a good understanding in English. For us a little music wil be a star more. For the service : just because of big tables and some difficult tables we had to wait longer for the desert. but still a really good job.

Nothing went well. I never ended up eating there because they made me feel very unwelcome.
