9.5/10It was overall a great meal, my only suggestions would be: * Have enough bottles of wine (we had 2 for a party of 5 and we had the last white one available) * The place was not packed and even though, the waitress didn't come to check on us. We said we were going to share the desserts and no extra plates were added. * The bathroom was not clean, or had towels.

8.5/10I must say I was pleasantly surprised with all of the Japanese and Peruvian fusion dishes! My husband and I went during the week and ordered from the menu of the day. The first plate was spectacular and the main dishes blew our minds (beef noodle dish and pork dish). The food was 10/10. Would definitely recommend and come back!

5/10I have been to quite a few Nikkei restaurants in Peru and this one is something else. The flavors do not mix well together for most of the dishes. We were eating makis and nigiris. One of the worst offenders is maki named by the restaurant. Days after the visit I was feeling disgusted by the thought of it. What a shame.

8/10The urumakis were good, as always. However the "Natsu maki" special was a big disappointment: a mess to eat, no primary flavor and way too much sauce, 19€ wasted on what tasted like food from a cheap Chinese restaurant. The restaurant ambiance was strange, it smelled a lot like chlorine, probably the restaurant is located just below the hotel's swimming pool, not always noticeable but this time it was like eating by the swimming pool.

7/10The first time i went to Nikkei the food was phenomenal, it was worth the price. Because of that experience i decided to book at Nikkei again to celebrate our anniversary, but this time the food was different than before, the quality was less for the same price or even more expensive (understandable, inflation after COVID). I was disappointed because i wanted to share the authentic jap-peruvian fusion with my partner who got to taste it for the first time and i was let down....

10/10Stunning sushi in a lovely setting but the highlight for me was the tiradito. I have never tasted anything as complex and subtle. This restaurant is a must visit.

9/10A bit noisy for a romantic evening. Food was great, successful fusion of peruvian and japanese gastronomy. Staff is very friendly, it was our first time so we asked for platters recommendation. Recommendations were on point. Price quality ratio is quite acceptable. Would definitely try new platters next time.

9.5/10Super welcoming staff, great food (the portion can be a bit small for guys), just a bizarre gender-inclusive washroom with translucent doors. I'd definitely come back again and try other menus. The menu del dia is such a delight!

4/10Honestly we found the food to terrible and canceled our order after the first 2 uramaki. Worse than supermarket sushi. The Pisco sours were awesome though and the waiter and manager accepted that we didn’t want anything else without making a fuss.

2/10Worst experience we’ve had in a while. I asked for some appetizers (because our food was taking so long) and the answer I got from the waiter: I have nothing to give to you for free. (I hadn’t even asked to get anything for free). They told us the food was going to be ready soon but we got to finish our wine before we started eating. When we got to try the food, we found it dissappointing and not at all worth paying what it costs so we cancelled the other dishes we ordered. I do not reccomend this restaurant and will never come back of course.

9.5/10It was great! Try the acevichado makis. I was apprehensive at first but then I tried it and it was great. They also changed some of the menu because my wife was allergic to shellfish.

5/10It is not the first time I have been in this restaurant and I took a good friend of mine who didn't know the place and its cuisine. The thing i most loved was the wagyu but on this occasion it had nothing to do with the one I tried months ago. Also the rest of the dishes were not up to the standard I remembered apart from Urumaki which was really delicious
