This was our second visit after not visiting the restaurant for a couple of years, and I think, if anything, we enjoyed it more this time. Excellent food - the toro with foie gras marinated in amaretto was a particular highlight, the staff were excellent, cocktail to start and wine were excellent.

We had lunch 3 times during our Holiday in Lisbon last week, after a first visit in 2023. It was really perfect again and the quality of the food was perfect. We will for sure come back to this nice restaurant with a very good staff. During our last visit the chef even presented us a special tiger prawn for free because of our regular visits, which was really delicious. Thanks again. Petra from Holland

The reservation process was very simple, we’ve got a table without any problems. We’ve been greeted by hostess and shown to our places. Pros: - quite rich menu, a lot of options to choose from - service was okay, nothing out of ordinary - food was fresh Cons: - a place is a bit dirty, there was dust everywhere and the table was slightly sticky - chopsticks are for 1-time use (the one you got in cheap deliveries) which is going apart from the “lux” entourage and vibe of the place - we’ve got offered small snack and water in the beginning but NOT informed that they will add it to the bill (we’ve got a really small plate of nachos and guacamole to share and got charged 3.50€ per person for it) All in all - food was pretty tasty, but for the people who like unexpected taste combinations, worth a visit, but wait for the discount occasion. And doublecheck with a waiter for what you’re going to be charged.

The chef Mauricio is an artisan. The food is exquisitely good and you keep trying to guess some flavours. All dishes were incredible and we chose many. Above all, people at the restaurant are very nice and available and the ambience is very cosy. If you are into an Asian Peruvian experience, it’s the right place. I will be back for sure. Just missed to know the name of the painter of the painting in the restaurant.

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a nice ambiance. However for what you are getting food wise I believe this to be a bit over priced. The tuna we got served tasted old and the servers were very un attentive. I have received much better service at establishments with properly priced food. I would expect to be treated better considering the money we spent. I’m sure our bill was the lower end but had the servers paid more attention we would have spent more. The sushii rolls were really good though I will say that. I don’t see myself going back there.

Nikkei is one of the top5 best restaurants in Lisbon, and if price is a variable is definitely top 3… The service is really incredible, and food is just amazing… The fusion between Japan and Peru. Is unexpected but really deserves a try.

Food is very good as are the cocktails. The restaurante is beautifully set, but the atmosphere is ruined by the extremely loud and intrusive music. Further, there were always 3-4 staff members talking very loud and laughing among themselves adding go the noise. Some staff members clearly lack proper training, interrupting conversations, taking plates when they were obviously finished, etc. In the end, too expensive for the experience.

All dishes were delicious, from totopos to the sushi platter and surprisingly conforting udon. Fresh ingredients, great fish, very good take on peruvian/japanese food. Leave room for the churros at the end. Very good cocktails, nice atmosphere and service. Worth the money.

Very overpriced!! Very pretty interior decor but the problem was the food. The fish had good quality but sushi combination was terrible, mixing of flavors very bad. We ordered cervice as well and was too sweet. Got very nauseous after the food and the soy sauce was smelling weird.

Every time we are in Lisbon, despite the excellent local food, we devote at least one lunch to this amazing Japanese/Peruvian restaurant. The service is amazing and always there to assist and advise whenever required. The location next to the Torre de Belem is breathtaking, but above all the food is AMAZING! Definitely a place to go…

We go often to this restaurant. It has great atmosphere and the food is good. However this time, the food ingredients didn’t exactly match what was in the menu which for someone with food intolerance is very challenging. The worst thing is that it took them some time to accept the fact and take the dish back and make a new one.

If you like Japanese sushi and you like Peruan food you need to visit Nikkei where exist an amazing integration between both. It’s difficult to explain how good it is until we try it. Was not my first time as I tried some years ago and get a real fan.

You pay for what you eat. The price is high but totally worth it! The quinoa rolls with truffles and the tempura spicy shrimp are absolutely to die for. The service was very efficient and the staff welcoming. If you want Asian food with a combination with Peruvian style, this is a great choice.
