Octopus starter was nice, fish croquettes rather boring and with little flavour. Main course: goat was tasty but rather greasy; partridge bone dry with no taste at all with very salty risotto and no vegetable in sight. Cheese for desert: apparently Portugal is not really a cheese country — bland cheeses. And then we paid more than 100 euros for what’s supposed to be “authentic Portuguese food”. Not a very happy experience, I’m sorry to say.

We enjoyed dinner this week at No Tacho! based upon a recommendation. We had completed a 10 day tour of Portugal and this was our last night in Lisbon. This was a treat to enjoy such a delicious presentation of food delights. The octopus salad as an app is simple, yet just the right balance of flavors...we've had a similar dish-but this was clearly the best! We ordered the chef recommendation for the day - pork neck, sweet potatoes....wow! I wasn't expecting such a plate of tender of pork with flavors! I certainly would return again! Very well done-Cheers!

We had a wonderful dinner at No Tacho. The croaker and the goat chanfana main courses were especially good, and we enjoyed everything else. This is a small restaurant that was very busy on a Sunday evening, so booking is advised.

Set just off the main drag in the Old Town No Tacho is a relaxing setting mixing locals and tourists alike Portuguese food with a modern twist with a really good VFM wine list We really enjoyed our evening

It is our first trip to Portugal and we have been enjoying seeing the sights of Coimbra. We found No Tacho on The Fork and decided to try it. It is a cozy restaurant with great service. We love to eat the food of the country we are in and everything tasted amazing. We tried the warm octopus salad which was my favorite dish so far and also the cod and the chanfana. Everything was wonderful including dessert.

What a find! A superb meal, we had the most amazing appetizer of hot octopus salad which was a good portion of diced octopus and small vegs and herbs with incredible flavor. I had marinated partridge with a smoky bacon and rice. Delicious. My husband had roast croaker/corvina cooked perfectly. The place is tiny, but the personal service of the staff was exceptional. Highly recommend

The food was out of this world! We were a party of four and everybody ordered something different and we cleaned our plates and then some! Have been in Portugal for six weeks and have had nothing but excellent food, but I think that this restaurant was the very best! Highly recommend do not miss
