The tastiest dish was the Kabuli pulao with lamb shank that came with the main course combo for 2. And the service was excellent, above average for such a restaurant in the Netherlands.

The quantity was really disappointing, even though we ordered a big grill plater. There was mentioned shami kabab in the plater, but there was no shami kabab in there. The same glasses they serve alcohol, are also used for softdrinks. The smell was soo strong that we asked them for new glasses. The waitresses were nice and the restaurant is beautiful. But they should work on their quantity, cause we paid around €60 for that small platter. Definitely not going back.
NooristanDear Shah, Thank you for leaving a review. However, we disagree with some points. Firstly, you ordered one mixed grill for two people. And you were seated at a table with two adults and two children. With all due respect, of course the quantity was not sufficient. We don't know what you call shami kebab, but we Afghans call the long minced meat roll shami kebab, and it was definitely included! As for the glass, my colleague explained it yesterday, but here is a brief explanation again. You wanted ice cubes, unfortunately, there was an air freshener, by mistake, on top of the ice machine, which had accidentally leaked a little onto the ice tray. We found out afterwards, so it was definitely not alcohol. We respect your opinion, but falsely accusing someone is not fair.

We went exactly 5 pm with reservations & they took the order. They just serving the locals and keep ignoring the tourists. They gave us food after 1 hour. It was terrible experience. Meat was smelly not taste good. Waste of Money 💰. Definately will not go back.

We have been to Nooristan a few times now, and each time we are completely and happily satiated with their delicious food. The quality and flavour are top notch. The service is excellent, and very clean washrooms!. Never a disappointment !!! We look forward to our next visit! The bolani, lentil soup, wings are absolutely delicious!

Delicious food, friendly staff and nice athmosphere. Could have been a little more food considering the price of the rice table. We were 4 people and finished till the last crumble, which usually never happens.

Hidden gem in Hoofddorp. Incredible delicious food. Menu is great, and if you cannot decide, the staff is very friendly and helpful. It was not that busy when we went, but I can only believe that it’s because it is not situated directly at a busy route. 10/10 would recommend!

We headed out to Nooristan not knowing what to expect. It was a late Sunday evening and the restaurant was quiet. Service was excellent and the food freshly made and wonderful. Really loved the artwork all over the walls.

Yummie food, friendly staff, very affordable prices. What else can one want? We had some shared starters and then the tasting menu ('rijsttafel') for 4, which was a nice selection of stews (lamb, veal, chicken, veg), meatballs (beef and chicken), veg (okra, pumpkin, aubergine, lentils), naan, palau rice (with carrot, raisins, nuts), chutneys and yoghurt dip, which we all enjoyed very much. Much recommended restaurant!

Everything is is best , I would like to come again and again to this restaurant. Loved all the orders where desserts are the best
