The food was excellent! The biggest annoyance were the pesky little fruit flies we had to fight with. it only takes a few. We now know them to commonly be in many, many of the restaurants/bakeries in Paris. We also know 1st hand that the little rascals aren't the easiest to take down. However, the food from the kitchen was flavorful, tender and just overall worth a temporary fight with a few fruit flies.

This was a great discovery! I'm Portuguese and this restaurant made me feel like I was back in Portugal. Not only was the food great (I had the best "carne de porco à alentejana" I ever ate) but the portions were also copious and the prices were quite modest. On top of that, the staff was endowed with the characteristic Portuguese warmth (they even offered us coffee at the end). Would definitely recommend :)

A very lovely restaurant in the historic center of Paris, close to the old École Polytechnique. The chicken and the patatoes are very good with the garlic sauce (I recommend to mix the patatoes and salad or green beans). For the sauce, the whisky one is my favorite. The dessert is also very good. The only inconvenience is that the place is quite small, I would advice to avoid bag pack or baggage and of course make a reservation to be sure to have a sit to enjoy a good lunch

Good honest food. Very good value for money. Service with a smile. The chicken is a must. Very tiny place. I would not recommend it if you don’t want the next table to hear every word of your conversation. 😀

We had our best dinner in France last night. David was our waiter and he was thoughtful, patient and kind. He helped us choose our meals which were incredible. We will return and tell everyone we know about this hidden gem. Merci!
