This was the best dining experienec I have had in ten years in the Algarve. Nuno and Manuela have created for me the perfect dining experience. The food, attentive service and ambience just make the whole experience a delight. Along with their son Raphael, Bea and Paulo they made our night at Numa a memorable one. I will be a regular diner I hope for many years to come. For me you are the gem of the Algarve.

NuMa perfectly blends Portuguese tradition with modern creativity as well as offering fine dining in a very welcoming, family atmosphere. Highly recommend NuMa for an unexpected Algarve surprise.

+2What a delightful experience at Numa! The chef and his wife were both so warm and welcoming, the staff were attentive and helpful, and the food was incredible. They’ve created an ambiance and experience worth repeating! We look forward to our next visit to the Algarve and plan to dine here again.

The standout of our trip, we embarked on a journey of flavours and it really was fantastic via the tasting menu. For the price you get and the quality served I can’t speak highly off. I loved the fact they sourced locally but then went above with the creation of all the unique flavours. A few stand outs for me were the Portuguese stew beans, piri-piri entree, of course the prime jewel of carabineiro. This was a birthday meal and I’d recommend all to go for that special night. Rafael, Nuno and the rest of the team God bless you!

NUMA is a magnificent restaurant in the Algarve. The 8-course tasting menu showcases a perfect harmony of local products and contemporary cuisine. The octopus dish stands out in particular: tender, multi-layered in flavor, and perfectly balanced. Calm atmosphere and impeccable service. Highly recommended. Rating: 5/5.

The food and the staff were all awesome. The tasting menu was interesting and creative-both in the food and the presentation. We had the smaller of the 2 tasting options (8 items) and we were both well satiated by the end. Highly recommended

+3As you walk into Numa, you know you are going to have a unique experience. The staff, ambience, setting are all excellent. So well looked after, food was described, wine was offered, the sommelier is particularly worth a mention. The server was attentive and appreciated feedback. the food was sublime, the octopus, tartare and the chocolate dessert deserve a special mention.We cannot wait to return!!

very disappointed. We went there 2 times before and had wonderful dinner and experience. This time, lack of taste, no imagination, fish too cooked as well. very small portions. Far too expensive for the quality

+5We wanted to try their signature dishes but were attracted to the Tasting menu. The 10 course is definitely too much for us so we chose the 8 course. Everything was well presented, decent and fresh. The Ray is not an easy find and we were very pleased. The bread is the best we’ve had in Portugal. Overall, a very good choice of Portuguese cuisine for a moderate price.

The food is absolutely wonderful. It’s creative but it is also incredibly delicious! The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is very attentive. A must visit restaurant! We went twice in 5 days.

The best dining experience my husband and I have had in the Algarve region in 6 days. A much better choice than the other Michelin rated restaurant in the area, which left much to be desired. The food at Numa was perfection and the service too. The chef/owner actually took the time to greet us and personally guarantee he could make changes to any dish based on food allergies. Fresh ingredients through and through. We ordered a la carte. Hope to be back when next in town.

The ambiance at Numa is excellent—stylish, welcoming, and with great attention to detail. The service was also warm and professional throughout the evening. However, we found the food to be rather uninspired and, given the high ratings, somewhat disappointing. While everything was well presented, the dishes lacked creativity and depth in flavor. Overall, a beautiful setting and good service, but the culinary experience did not quite live up to expectations.
