This was our first time at NUME Amsterdam, it sits in a monumental building, a very nice location, super friendly and attentive staff, the service was excellent, with an incredibly tasty dishes. we checked the menu online on Google maps beforehand, and we went there already knowing what to order, however their menu was recently changed, (we wanted to order the scallops, and the lamb shank) but they are not included in the new menu, nevertheless, the dishes we ordered were super delicious and didn’t disappoint at all. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely get back soon to try the rest of the dishes.

Good food and nice environment, but unfortunately many other things didn’t make up for it. First of all - service was kind but very slow. It was Monday evening with a few tables occupied, and there was only one person in the kitchen and one serving the tables. It took 20 minutes from the moment we ordered to get the wine/cocktails, 35 minutes for the appetisers and 1.15h for the main course. Additionally, most of the dishes we wanted were either not available (the steak tartare and tarte citron) or were not matching the description, e.g the lamb was served with roast potatoes instead of potato puree (but this was called out upfront) and the chocolate mousse was missing both the berry syrup and the crumble. Maybe Monday isn’t the best time for this place and I hope the experience is better on other days. Additionally, two dishes (the roasted potatoes and the dessert) were not discounted in the final check - while only drinks should have been excluded.
