Had eaten at this restaurant many years ago and the refurbished was sympathetically done. Food was generally very good. Wife's monkfish skewer was outstanding and we appreciated the fact that they redid the dish without question because they had mistakenly included meat on the skewer when asked to ensure it was pescatarian. The chicken dish was good, the pork cheeks were very tender if slightly oversalted. all the accompaniment well cooked. The 5 guests shared a massive egg pudding/tart, home baked. The Fork discount definitely made a great difference to the price.

Richardo and his team do a wonderful job and the food was delicious. Been going to this restaurant for years has always being good, and the revamped premises are excellent and new owner Richard doing a great job, best to book as always busy.

The Good! The food was excellent we had the Pork ribs ( Entrecosto) ( even though I asked for beef) but OK they were very good. So no problem. My love had secretos de Porco. Very good. The ambience was very nice. Place was packed on a Friday. The Bad! We were greeted by a not so friendly man at the door and explained we had booked with the Fork. Asked if we could eat upstairs. He said No your seat is here . Right in front of the door. We said we’d really prefer to eat upstairs. He reluctantly agreed. The young lady was very friendly and good at her job. We had a very pleasant experience until the bill showed up. Not only didn’t we receive our discount we were charged for a covert we didn’t have. OK accidents happen so we explained to the waitress. She went to change it. They brought the new bill. Everything seemed fine until we realized they changed an extra 2€ for the ribs when we arrived home. No big deal. In conclusion the meal was excellent just watch your bill. Cheers

In my opinion, the food was average. My wife's cod was more bones than fish and my steak was tough and tasteless.
