8.5/10So here are my thoughts. The food was really good and fresh, especially the catch of the day amberjack tartare was simply outstanding, 10/10. The raw prawns were also great! They have their own fisherman that brings them fish, so the selection is really good and super fresh. The lobster pasta was good, but mine specifically arrived lukewarm. Deserts were just ok, mine was a strawberry cake which was better, but the tiramisu wasn’t my favorite. The restaurant itself is small and there was only one more couple inside. The music is really appropriate and non intrusive. The waiters are attentive and friendly. One thing I didn’t like was that fish tartare on the menu is 30 euros (both salmon, tuna or catch of the day), but when I looked at the bill the amberjack tartare one was priced 48 euros, which I assume was charged per whole fish, but we were not informed on this. I saw this only when I arrived home, so it was too late, but just a warning to be mindful of what you order.

7/10The dishes we ordered were good, however, we were very disappointed with the tiramisu... It was dry, seriously lacking in mascarpone (there's only some on top) and I didn't understand why they brushed it with chocolate hazelnut sauce... I came to Italy to taste a real one and I was really impressed by this dessert... too bad

10/10We booked a table for 3:30pm, but ended up there more than 30 minutes earlier, and were received with a smile and a "No Problem". At the time we sat, there was just one table of 7 people, so ordering and being served resulted to be pretty fast. Our dishes were tasty (Steamed Mussels, Octopus Salad, Linguine with Urchins, mixed Grilled fish platter and green peppers) and portions were fair. Biagio, who seemed to be the manager, has been extremely friendly and helpful with the order and, once we came across some common hospitality experiences, we ended up sharing stories and perspectives which lead to some interesting conversations. I would recommend Oceano Restaurant to have a pleasant and tasty meal and surely relying on the professional and acknowledged Biagio in case of any questions! Thanks again :)
