We had been lately looking for a nice restaurant to enjoy fresh fish, before stumbling upon this restaurant, in the Fork restaurant catalogue. On a Saturday evening dinner, we found ourselves into great ambience and a very friendly staff. Although Switzerland is not famous for their seafood restaurants, The Octopus offered fresh fish from France cooked with passion. Kudos to the cook for the excellent tastes!

Octopus offers a high quality food in a very nice "sea" ambiance. We love the place and service! I booked for our wedding anniversary and waiters were fantastic! Prices are also totally affordable and TheFork discounts are excellent! We'll definitively come back

Excellent food overall, the dishes were very tasty. However, we were there on Valentines Day, the waiters were really busy, I don’t know why there were only 2 of them on this kind of special day, we waited almost 1 hour for the waiter to come toward us to take our order or offer a drink , without any excuse from them. But I would recommend to come on a more chill day with less people, to fully enjoy the food.

Great food, relaxed good service, friendly, spacious - many in Old Town are too closely packed for talking and too hot.

Delicious food. The portions could be a bit bigger given the price.

Too many smokers at terrace. Payment by credit card was inside and it was not clear. So we waited a long time. Baby calamari had too much garlic! Bad breath all afternoon

We reserved last minute and we were delighted with everything. The food was amazing as well as the service. One of my best birthday dinners. We will for sure come back again.

All the dishes we tried were very tasty and nicely presented. We, especially, liked the Octopus dishes, the fish and the last dessert ( variety of cakes, panna cota,…). Our waiter, Joris, was outstanding. Highly recommended!

Great spot right around the corner from our hotel. The ambiance of the restaurant was wonderful, and our waitress was very attentive. The grilled octopus was a little over done and the lobster in the ravioli could have been more moist. The sea bass was delicious as was the risotto. I'd go back.

Excellent food (fish and seafood), good portion sizes, and very welcoming and helpful staff. It is a bit out of the way but worth the ten-minute walk from the historical center. Perfect for a nice, quiet evening enjoying good seafood. Will go back!

Amazing food and service! We had dinner twice at Octopus while visiting Geneve last week.

My son invited me to the restaurant Octopus for lunch on Mother’s Day. We had a nice round table with a banquette seat. We chose a Passion juice spritz cocktail which had an excellent flavor of passion fruit. Also the prices of the cocktails in general were reasonable by Geneva standards. For starters we had scallops with artichoke cream (Saint-Jacques snackées, lard de colonnata, trio d’artichaut) and fried baby squid with mayonnaise and black lemon (Calamaretti frits, mayonnaise citron noir). Both dishes were original, very well presented and tasty. As main courses we chose a Turbot with asparagus (Turbot, asperges, salicornes, sauce cacahuète-miso) and octopus wood-fired grilled (Poulpe grillé au feu de bois, brocolini, olives leccinol, tomates séchées, ail) both were good. The highlight was the desert of a Bavarian cream in the shape of a small green apple with a basil filling (Comme une pomme verte, crème bavaroise, cœur basilic) truly delicate and memorable.

A very nice surprise!! The dish were really excellent! Gastronomy like. Extremely well displayed and they could even adapt the menu to my numerous food allergies. A most go!
