Waiter was not kind. It was burning hot outside, with over 35 degrees. Upon asking to have a table in the shadow, or to have at least some sun protection over the table, his answer was very bluntly that no other table could be assigned (we were the first couple of clients, and all tables were still available) However he sticked to his point that no tables could be changed.

We were expecting something great but we realized after getting our meals that it was very bad idea to go Ode. We ordered very very well done meat steak but it was less than medium and even it was tasteless and very badly cooked. Our second meal was caesar salad with chicken was worst one we had.

We were there for a family Birthday lunch, the service was excellent, lovely personeel, great atmosphere on the water and the food was delicious! ❤️

We choose the option of a 4 course menu. Each course took over an hour to come to the table. Our dinner was at 5pm and the team group did leave until 10pm. The food and the ambiance was lovely, however not worth the wait.

A full house and the staff was on high pressure thus we needed to wait for service a while. Staff was keeping us up to date of the situation and they really did their best. We had the chef menu which was a surprise menu. Loves all the food and it really surprised us. Lovely view to Amstel river and can honestöy recommend this restaurant.

It is a lovely setting with wonderful food. I couldn't help but feel bad for the staff though, as two of them had to service what seemed like a very busy lunch seating. At least one more waiter/waitress would be needed! Still, they were very polite & the lunch menu is an excellent value for money ????

We come here quite often, and the service is always fantastic and the food of the best quality. Lovely to go with family, friends or a date. Excellent views od the Amstel during the day, and cozy with warm dim light at night. This time the service was slightly messy, but understandable as it was in the middle of a heat-wave with way too many people and it was almomst end of the shift. Still the manager came to apologise with the most professional and friendly manners. We will repeat many times!

I, my wife and another couple enjoyed a delightful meal. We tried their 4 course chefs(suprise) menu. The cuisine and presentation were equally good. Interesting flavour combinations with an Asian twist. Lovely ambience enhanced by the riverside location. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you love good food. Relaxed atmosphere enhanced by really friendly engaging staff. Their choice of wines with reach course made real sense too. Good value for money.

A perfect spot on the river. Fantastic terrace on the river Amstel, the perfect spot to have lunch and spend the afternoon chatting with friends on a sunny afternoon. Food is very good, interesting wine list. Servir a bit slow (understaffed?).

I booked on The Fork and I got a confirmation email. But when I got to the restaurant I got informed that my booking got cancelled without notice. They actually told us that they have some free tables to serve drinks but not dinner. The reason is that their staff apparently is too busy to serve us dinner. The crazy thing is that we were only two people. No attempt to apology or offer any sort of compensation. They will never see me back.
