The food was substandard for a restaurant advertised as a sophisticated establishment. The pre-prepared cold entree was tasteless and the main fare was poorly presented and bland. An expensive waste of a night in Paris. How does this place sit qualify for entry in the Michelin guide?

Our second visit to the restaurant, did not disappoint. The service staff was very professional and took the time to interact with the customers. Delicious cuisine, well-deserved the Michelin star.

The service was excellent. They were well prepared for my gluten free needs with a beautifully ‘accessorized’ slice of gluten free bread. The main courses and the desserts were very good and very nicely presented. For whatever reason, Odette is under the radar but if your priority is good food, creatively prepared and beautifully served, this should be on your list of Paris restaurants to try.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the food at Odette as the service was so awful we left after being seated and then ignored for 25 minutes. We were looking forward to a Christmas Eve menu which we had booked 3 months in advance. We arrived early for our 7pm booking and were the third table to be seated. It was instantly apparent that the three staff were out of their depth. We were not offered any water or a drinks menu and sat for 15 minutes while other tables were seated and ordered drinks. Eventually I was handed a drinks menu by the waiter from another table which was wet. At one point my husband went to the waiter to ask if he could come and take our drinks order - he said ‘in a minute’ and then ignored us again until we decided we had had enough and left. This is only the second time I have ever walked out of a restaurant but it was such an uncomfortable experience from the start we did not want to tolerate it. Absolutely shocking from an establishment like this. Do better.

Found this restaurant in the Michelin guide and I had high expectations. The staff was fine and the food was average at best. One of the dishes looked premade instead of fresh to order. The ambience was very disappointing as I soon realized this was a hotel lobby, casual restaurant. There weren’t many tables. There was a group of people sitting around, just having drinks, there was a gentleman at another table reading a newspaper using his phone as a reading light. The vinyl on the couch next to me was worn through and long overdue for replacement. It was far from fine dining in any sense and I was happy to finish my meal and leave. Odette has the potential to be a great restaurant, but it needs a lot of work.

Charming staff. Everything was delicious from the bread to the small first course. the delicious rouget, and the pot de creme au chocolat. the dessert in the lunch menu is small sized so you may want to pay a little more for a dessert from the a la carte menu - these are fabulous. I love the plush cream colored design, it’s a comfortable space to linger and you can actually hear the conversation. it’a great location.. l

For Michelin star the service was mediocre. The lunch menu was disappointing. Cold appetizer and a pudding cup for dessert was not the expectation. I would not recommend and would not return. Questing how it received its star.

Not only did he guide us through the menu with enthusiasm and expertise, but his wine recommendations were nothing short of extraordinary. Ashik's skill in finding the perfect wine to complement each course was unparalleled. His deep understanding of the flavors and ability to tailor his suggestions to our preferences demonstrated a level of expertise that is rarely encountered. It was evident that Ashik was not merely serving us; he was curating an experience, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was impeccable. The food is not bad, but far away from the level of Michelin standard. The lunch menu is not fresh, the menu is not well designed or presented. With same level price of lunch in similar standard restaurant, there’re much better ones in Paris. This one is unfortunately quite disappointing. For example, in the meat dish, the beef is not very tasty, and the only sauce they use is ketchup… instead of variety of different more delicate flavour combination. The dessert is totally street food instead of fait maison. There’s no ceremony of changing tablewares or clean the table between steps. Again, it’s not bad as for a normal restaurant, but it’s a Michelin and people have higher expectations for that.

For a Michelin listed restaurant, the experience was a bit disappointing. The appetizer was not exceptionally good: a sweet potato amuse bouche that was quite underwhelming: the flavors were lacking, and the texture was that of bits of food left soaking in a vinaigrette. The main was good: flank steak properly cooked with a side of vegetables and a light but at the same time intense sauce. The desert was a chocolate mousse. The greatest was the set menu’s price of €26.

Excellent meal. All the food lived up to our high expectations. The restaurant is quite small and the layout of the dinning area did not feel as special as the food. Overall, highly recommend for the exceptional quality and presentation of the food.

The restaurant has outgone our expectations. The food was awesome. We had fish, our little girl specially prepared for her pasta and our big girl had beef. Our waiter Rafael was very helpful, smiling and kind. The restaurant was very cosy, clean, and welcoming. The desserts were delicious!!!

Odette was wonderful! The waiter was friendly, welcoming and charming! The bartender made excellent cocktails! The food was delicious and reasonably priced and the ambience was comfortable but elegant.

Cute restaurant, beutiful décor but really uderstaffed, two people doing everything, wich mes à bad attention from the server, food was super standard, nothing really delicious, How good is it to be creative if the taste is disapointing? I mean dishes sound good on thé menu but once you eat them its not even close to what you imagine.
