Food was high quality. Service was with a smile, but felt like they were annoyed by 10 year old dining with us. We asked for a pasta and butter for her. First the waiter gave an answer that we don't have butter. I then said oil. He said they can do it. Her food came out 15 min after everyone else's after 2 reminders. Then we had to request the check 3 times. But to summarize, food was excellent, service was good attitude, but forgetful for the 10 year old and the check.

thank you for your review, we will try to speed up the service as much as possible, considering that our cuisine is express and therefore 90% of the preparations are made at the moment, so a little waiting is normal, keeping in mind that the restaurant was fully booked yesterday and there was only one person in the room. We are not a "sit and go" restaurant but we are keen to follow the entire progress of the evening. If you are looking for an intimate and quiet place in which to relax and spend a nice evening in peace with good wine and good food, the Our restaurant is the right place for you! As far as the opinion on the cuisine is concerned, it is still your opinion. We wish you a good day from the Officina del Mare Team

I was disappointed that a fish restaurant don't offer fresh fish. We ended up with a fritata mista and a tuna steak, which was cold at arriving at our table. Service was not attentive... wine on the menu not available.

Enjoyed a nice evening at Officina del mare. The starters of Tuna tartare and zucchini blossoms were outstanding. The first course of mezzi was good and the pasta cooked perfectly. Our main courses were a let down. I had the cod with leeks and it was presented quite lovely. However, the fish was underdone and very chewy. My husband ordered bacon wrapped fish bites and being from Florida we expected “fish bites” like you’d see in a bar however the presentation was very different from expectations, but he thought it was ok. The chocolate pear was very good. Back to the Tuna starter…it was accompanied by a basil ice cream which is with the trip alone. After amazing starters we had high hopes for the rest. The chef is trying very hard here and truly cares about his establishment. The waiter needs help and never once asked how the food was or if we needed any beverages during the meal.
