thank you for your review, we will try to speed up the service as much as possible, considering that our cuisine is express and therefore 90% of the preparations are made at the moment, so a little waiting is normal, keeping in mind that the restaurant was fully booked yesterday and there was only one person in the room. We are not a "sit and go" restaurant but we are keen to follow the entire progress of the evening. If you are looking for an intimate and quiet place in which to relax and spend a nice evening in peace with good wine and good food, the Our restaurant is the right place for you! As far as the opinion on the cuisine is concerned, it is still your opinion. We wish you a good day from the Officina del Mare Team

5/10I was disappointed that a fish restaurant don't offer fresh fish. We ended up with a fritata mista and a tuna steak, which was cold at arriving at our table. Service was not attentive... wine on the menu not available.

Enjoyed a nice evening at Officina del mare. The starters of Tuna tartare and zucchini blossoms were outstanding. The first course of mezzi was good and the pasta cooked perfectly. Our main courses were a let down. I had the cod with leeks and it was presented quite lovely. However, the fish was underdone and very chewy. My husband ordered bacon wrapped fish bites and being from Florida we expected “fish bites” like you’d see in a bar however the presentation was very different from expectations, but he thought it was ok. The chocolate pear was very good. Back to the Tuna starter…it was accompanied by a basil ice cream which is with the trip alone. After amazing starters we had high hopes for the rest. The chef is trying very hard here and truly cares about his establishment. The waiter needs help and never once asked how the food was or if we needed any beverages during the meal.

2/10Terrible experience, starting with a waiter that not only couldn't speak a single word in English but was absolutely not interested in serving us. The food tasted bad, too heavy and strong souce, poor quality oil. And overpriced. A not to go place. A fish started we could only taste peanuts, a linguini with a disgusting souce with raw praws that tasted nothing, a mix of pasta that seem to be made with canned tomatos.

7/10It was a bit of a disappointment after reading the other reviews about the place. It started great with a gift from the chef with a fried ball of cod, it was good but extremely salty, and that was the general theme and problem in all the courses, if not everything in the dish then at least one of the parts in the dish was over salted, and sadly the fish was also very dry in the main courses, both of them.
