10/10Everything we had was delicious - a fresh take on Portuguese cuisine. We loved the restaurant so much we dined there twice. Some of the dishes we loved included the oxtail, the lamb, and the fish. The egg and chocolate desserts were also excellent.

10/10One of the best restaurants on the Iberian peninsula. We love this restaurant and have been here every time we come to Lisbon. Tonight's meal did not disappoint. In fact it was one of the best. Fabulous interesting food great ambience and wonderful, friendly service.

I went to Oficina do Duque in 2019 with my husband, the starters’ bread was so good, thin slices half grilled half not with pate, they are delicious and beautifully arranged in the basket. Today they first forgot our bread and served the salad and the main course directly, only after we remind them where is the bread, then they served in a rush - it’s half thin slices deep frying very very greasy and the other half thicker slices. The pate looked awful, not creamy, no port aroma, rough and not smooth inside your mouth. The main course Pork Jaw was overcooked, very hard, tasted like pork jerky. I’m so disappointed about the quality today. I had a wonderful experience in 2019 and a terrible lunch in 2024! My friends knew my experience in 2019 and were so excited to join me today and what a shame!

Cam here solo, ordered the octopus and the tuna, absolutely amazing food at a reasonable price point. Had a mixup since I had multiple reservations at restaurants with similar names that I loved around, realized I booked this twice by accident, but I guess you can say I failed successfully. Had the bread/toast with pate, then pork neck on night two, didn’t disappoint. I really thought about coming back on my last day for breakfast…

It was the warmth of the male staff, the beautiful and carefully prepared dishes, and the cool, comfortable ambience that made my experience top notch. I wish I had more room in my belly to try more of their delicious-looking dishes coming out of the kitchen. Before I leave Lisbon, I may be back!

10/10Excellent varied menu - starters , main and desserts- all offering fresh and innovative options ! The mini burgers beef and cuttlefish starter and the oxtail main was a superb combination and along with the Cod main , cooked beautifully! The staff were proffesional , friendly and attentive - the kitchen was well run , clean and tidy and well managed My wife , sister and friends from Lisbon throughly enjoyed the evening , the restaurant is in great location for other bars - before and afterwards !

8/10Recommended by a friend who is a chef. Really good and interesting food - the fish was excellent and I had a slow cooked oxtail dish which was fabulous. We sat outside on the steps as there was a noisy group inside. The only average part was the service. Our waiter was only OK, and forgot about us a couple of times.

7/10This is a charming and very affordable little restaurant. The food quality is a bit uneven with some dishes we tried being truly excellent (bread, offal, and port and the roasted vegetables) and some not quite hitting the mark (oxtails, catch of the day). The oxtails were stringy and bland and the split peas on the plate were tasty, but undercooked. The pear puree was very nice and lent some much-needed flavor to the oxtails. The catch of the day remains a mystery. The server said it was pompano, but it was a thick filet and much oilier than the pompano we’ve had before. This was likely a language/translation issue. It wasn’t cod. The veggie oodles served with the fish were very nice, but the onion purée didn’t contribute much to the dish and was unattractive. The service was attentive, polite, and well-intentioned, but there weren’t enough servers once the restaurant filled and it took awhile to have requests fulfilled. Take cash. Their credit card service seems to be erratic.

3.5/10The staff were sullen and very loud as they chatted to each other. This might have been because the music was also far too loud, especially as there are no soft surfaces to absorb it, so the acoustics bounce around everywhere. The food was lamb and couscous, which lacked imagination, and was somewhat dry and boring. Lovely location, but never again.

We really enjoyed eating at this delicious restaurant. They even offered a vegan burger if you are vegan. We enjoyed the beef and Iberian pork. We highly recommend this restaurant the service was excellent! They also offer sushi. We tried the steak sushi and it melted in your mouth it was so good! We also enjoyed the desserts as well.
