10/10Loved this restaurant -- terrific food, fun ambience, attentive service, and a spry waiter/proprietor wearing a Van Dyke beard and ponytail, who was quite the character! He took my arm to escort me down the outdoor stairway, moved us from an area with nearby smokers, and called a cab for us at the end of the evening. It was my birthday and our last night in Italy, and his kindness and humor made our visit to Ombre Rosse quite memorable.

7.5/10Good food but service was lacking. Staff was not at all attentive. We would have loved to have had a second round of drinks but the wait staff never checked on us once the meal was served. Th next time we saw them was when they cleaned the table and we asked for our check.

8.5/10Away from the crowd this pub is like a hidden gem in Rome. The location and ambiance is premium. Service could be a little faster even for italian standards... Food is really good for this type of restaurant. Would be a regular if I was staying un Rome for some time.

10/10Great pork sandwiches with lovely outside seatings Attentive service and excellent drinks. A little bit of a walk from the Travestere area. But worth it, especially if you want a menu with more variety.

9.5/10Francesca was really helpful moving us to an outside table as requested on booking. Cocktails were amazing food was good and service good considering a busy Saturday night, the staff worked hard! We enjoyed our meal and would return, thank you.

10/10Welcoming friendly staff, great ambience. 2 adults and 2 preteens enjoyed the food and non alcoholic cocktails. Probably one of the best restaurants we tried on our trip to Rome.

10/10Very nice place, with a cozy atmosphere. Service has been super fast, while waiters are very kind and also fun. We took a Cacio è Pepe and a Gricia, as well as the focaccia, they were AMAZING. To drink we had both Spritz Aperol and Ombra Rossa, which were also very good (and my girlfriend and I are from Veneto 😜) We even received an offered Limoncello at the end of the dinner. Prices are fair, definitely worth the service and quality of the food We definitely recommend to eat at this place that will stay in our heart forever ❤️

10/10Fantastic food, ambience and staff, particularly Camille who was an amazing host. Nothing was too much for the staff. Would definitely go back , when in Rome. Thankyou for making our daughters 20th birthday memorable. 😘

10/10I was looking online for somewhere for my mums (big number) birthday. Found ombré rosse by chance and what a great find it was! Mum loved it which was a bonus and the food was top notch.

10/10This is a beautiful restaurant on a hilltop in Trastevere. We had good weather so we were able to eat out on the gravel terrace and fully enjoy the view. The food and service were both highest quality - not always easy to pull off on a busy Roman tourist weekend. We would gladly come back. Our table ordered 3 different types of pasta and they were each delicious. The wine menu is very reasonably priced, too! Highly recommend!

10/10Loved this place! the staff were welcoming and lovely and accommodating for my lack of Italian. The ambience was exactly what I was looking for. Lovely lighting, beautiful view from the inside balcony and some groovy music. Cecelia our waitress was wonderful, she gave great recommendations and the food was AMAZING. Loved the whole experience and then surprised by some lemoncello and biscotti before we left. Highly recommend!

6.5/10Food was very average unfortunately, focaccia was hard and crispy, salad was very basic and average, served in a big mixing bowl. Pasta was ok but nothing special at all. We were expecting a lot more with the good reviews

9/10This little restaurant was a great find. Although a bit hard to find, it was away from the busy city life surrounded by trees and flowers. The restaurant was quaint, nice music, super ambiance. The waiters were amazing and service was impeccable. Would highly recommend.

8/10Cute small restaurant in Trastevere. Was a short walk from our Una hotel. Outdoor and indoor seating. We sat outdoors in a downstairs patio square area which was nice. Small dining area but intimate and hides the road well. Menu is pretty typical for Rome. Craft cocktail menu was a standout. We kept it simple with 2 Spritz. Ordered the Caprese for starters, was good, fresh and light. Used cherry tomatoes which was unusual but fine. Was dressed well but needed more salt, more cheese and more basil and I would have preferred a touch more balsamic. My wife had the ravioli for dinner which was amazing. The filling was delicious, seasoned well. Red sauce was very creamy, highly recommend. I had the carbonara which was good, pretty typical although pork was more like bacon vs guancale. Tiramisu for dessert was inspired! Really outstanding, one of the best Tiramisu I've ever had. Served in a large coffee cup, chocolate was velvety smooth, tons of lady finger chunks throughout the bowl, a clear winner in my books. Service was excellent. Giulia was a standout, very welcoming, always smiling. We will definitely come back.
