10/10We loved this place! In a nice neighborhood and set up in a way that you feel very isolated from the street. The ambiance is very cozy. The good was good, service fast and super friendly. I highly highly suggest!

8/10Nice food and atmosphere. Manager was very friendly and helpful. Called for a taxi for us at the end of the evening and followed up when it did not arrive. Got back to our hotel safely - thanks! 😉

10/10The food was by far the best we have had in Rome. The staff was very, very kind, and I felt taken care of in a welcoming and warm way. The outside seating had a great atmosphere with good music. Most likely the highlight of our trip.

10/10Food was amazing. The focaccia bread was out of this world. The smoked salmon salad we shared as an appetizer and was delicious. Our pasta mains were lasagna and ravioli both had a great sauce and we recommend you try them. Another plus was how many of the staff could also speak excellent english. and provided great service and suggestions! Thanks again to the staff for making our day of touring complete.

8/10The food is wonderful. The service...not so much. The server may just have been having a bad day, but she was not happy about serving us. Before she even spoke one word to us, she walked up and made a face like "oh great, a family of four". I had to ask for things multiple times and she never seemed pleased about it. I even speak passable Italian, so it wasn't a language barrier. Also, be ready for mosquitos. There are a ton. Bring some spray or come prepared. Other than that, the food was really really good, probably the best Amatricana I've ever had. We'd return again, with mosquito repellant and hopes that our server was in a better mood.

6/10We have reservations, but people that came after us and had not a reservation, has beverages and meals sooner than us. We was waiting 20 minutes for service. And we didn't get what we ordered and they still charged us badly. It was very strange. We ordered bottle of white wine and one plate of cheese and one plate of ham and it was for that price very poor.

10/10Loved this restaurant -- terrific food, fun ambience, attentive service, and a spry waiter/proprietor wearing a Van Dyke beard and ponytail, who was quite the character! He took my arm to escort me down the outdoor stairway, moved us from an area with nearby smokers, and called a cab for us at the end of the evening. It was my birthday and our last night in Italy, and his kindness and humor made our visit to Ombre Rosse quite memorable.

7.5/10Good food but service was lacking. Staff was not at all attentive. We would have loved to have had a second round of drinks but the wait staff never checked on us once the meal was served. Th next time we saw them was when they cleaned the table and we asked for our check.

8.5/10Away from the crowd this pub is like a hidden gem in Rome. The location and ambiance is premium. Service could be a little faster even for italian standards... Food is really good for this type of restaurant. Would be a regular if I was staying un Rome for some time.
