The food was good, we ate mussels and frites. Everything went well until the end of the meal when we asked for the check. We had to ask for many times, to different employees. They all said they would bring it, but it took almost an hour for someone to bring us the check. Of course we didn't leave a tip.

We loved it. It’s not the first time we visit this restaurant. We loved specifically the waiter who served us. He was so kind and made sure we had a good time. He was always smiling and joking.

Visited Ommegang twice during our visit to Brussels. Outside was vibrant, lovely and warm in the summer weather and very well serviced. Food was excellent both visits. Carbonnade is highly recommended. Great choice of Belgian beer. 🍻

My family ate here at Brasserie Ommegang on the last night of our Brussels trip. We chose the restaurant because of its location in Grand Place. We like to have dinner in restaurants where we can people watch. It was good that we had made a reservation thru the Fork because the restaurants are busy on Friday nights. The food was very good. My girls both had mussels, my husband had a Belgian chicken dish and I had their version of shrimp scampi. All the meals were very, very good. It was a little loud, but we don't mind that. The service was a little slow because it was very busy. But not a deal breaker for us. It is a nice place to eat in a lovely part of Brussels.

The restaurant is quite nice with a lot of tables both inside and outside. Service is very quick and kind. The food also is quite good. The only "drawback" is that prices are a bit high (but it needs to say that location is very central).

The worst mussels I had in my life, I have tummy ache while I am writing this. Half of them didn’t open and many where broken.. for over 33€ a dish, the service was not good either… shame, I thought that we were going to have a nice experience.

Overpriced tourist trap! This was our second time dining at Ommegang, and while its proximity to our hotel and Grand Place could not be better, the exorbitant prices really left a bad taste in our mouths. The restaurant also refuses to serve tap water, so be prepared to pay a huge markup for a bottle of water. The food is fine, and the service is no frills, but fast. The carbonnade was good, but the vol au vent was a joke. A tiny little piece of puff pastry with a few pieces of chicken. I’ve had it in many other restaurants in Belgium, and have never seen it served this way. Drink prices are also absurd. We won’t be back next year, we’d rather spend our money on the many better options in Brussels.

Arrived, had our reservation but no table. Seated us at a table for 4 when we were 5. No kids menu and no option for half portions for kids. Forced to have an adult meal and waste half of it. Food we had was nice, but it’s expensive especially the drinks

The food was good! Once we ordered dessert, time went by, as half an hour went by until we decided to ask for it. It turned out that the waiter never placed the order. They offered us a rushed order of crepes to make it up, but still, there was little consideration for the client.
