Food was good, but the service left something to be desired… it was just one person tending to the tables, and practically every table inside had someone. At least two people should be working the tables so things can go a lot more smoothly.

I had the cod on spinach which was fine except the amount of salt in the spinach. My wife had a prawn rice, unfortunately the prawns were shrimps. The ambiance was poor. More like a school hall with tiles. No decoration or style. Windows were dirty. Corkage: A €7.00 wine sold for €15.59, Which was the corkage charge. Just a moneymaking issue. we had beer!

Food was delicious and service excellent. We would have hoped for a separate kids menu. Interior of the restaurant was not very welcoming (maybe a little face lift would be in place), but, the super friendly service made up for that. Would go again and try new dishes from the menu for sure!

Huge disappointment. We ate here 6 months ago and it was great. This time the service and food were terrible. The meat was so overcooked we had to send back. Second attempt was marginally better but still very rubbery and poor quality. Even the veg and potatoes were badly (over) cooked. It was also very expensive for what we had… Will not be returning.

Onofre is a very nice and quiet place, peaceful ambience and attentive staff. The food was delicious and served within short time. Strongly recommend and for sure will be back again!

While my family enjoy mateira BBQ, I have delicious vegetarian dishes. I like this elegant restaurant hidden in the beautiful resort of Vila bicuda.

There was a big celebration going on, so the service was a bit erratic last night, but ok all together. They made sure to look after everyone . The food was good, I ordered the lombo with polenta, very tasty. The sangria was excellent. All in all very good 😊

The ambiance of the restaurant was very good. Our waiter Tanvir has helped us a lot from the minute we’ve get in till we leave. He was very friendly also. He suggested very delicious traditional Portuguese food which we have really liked. Overall we really like to come back and taste other delicious food again.

We were a bit disappointed with the quality of the meat… however the skewers were better than the stakes, supposed to matured meat but weren’t, very tough..waiter was awesome (Joao) and he immediately saw to it that the meat was changed, much better 2nd time but unfortunately the first impression still prevailed… Service, live music and ambience truly saved the evening- and we are ready to go back soon and give it a 2nd chance!!

We order a medium fliet and medium Angus steak. Fliet cooked welldone and it was very dry. Angis streak was cooked properly but the meet was very though. Services was good and ambiance was okay.
