Second visit to Onze Zaak and it delivered the exact same calm, quiet afternoon vibe as the first. The food was excellent again. I ordered the carbonara, had the parmigiana, and the salad. The carbonara was rich and properly cooked, the parmigiana still hits, and the salad surprised me most. I can’t fully explain it except this: good ingredients, treated with care, taste different. You can feel the intention in how everything is put together, and it translates on the plate. Big shoutout to Chantal. Her energy made the experience. Warm welcome, easy presence, and the kind of hospitality that makes you want to stay longer. Definitely worth returning for a third, fourth, and more.

The ingredients were clearly fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The champagne and wine selection were impressively curated, pairing beautifully with the meal. But above all, the service truly stood out—attentive, warm, and professional from start to finish. An unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend.

10/10Being educated in the hospitality industry, I found Onze Zaak's Team service very professional: Attentive and clear sense of service and the room management. Great food. I opted for a start and main course: Starter: MELANZANE ALLA PARMIGIANA (aubergine, tomatensaus, mozzarella, Parmigiano Reggiano). Nicely presented, and just the right quantity. Fresh and delicious. Main course: TAGLIOLINI AL TARTUFO The highlight of my experience. Truffle smell and taste to me means: "Regressive" in culinary terms. I travel back in time, to comfortable experiences. The cherry on top, a chardonnay aged in Oak suggestion ❤️. Thank you. You made my visit to Amsterdam way more pleasant.

6.5/10Nice location and service is friendly but too few staff for the number of guests. My vitello tonnato was simply not good and the ribeye was at best a tiny 7 . Desserts were average. I had reserved based on very positive, recent reviews, but I must admit being surprised. We either had an unfortunate evening or the reviewers were too kind.

10/10Very nice restaurant! A bit of a hidden gem in the centre of the city! The building itself is very cute and cosy, the food was excellent and the service also very good. We were a group of 12 and I know that groups are not always easy, but they managed it very well. A definite recommendation.

9.5/10Good communication beforehand regarding the reservation. Welcoming staff. Seated promptly. Nice menu plus an evening special. Shared a burrata appetizer. Truffle pasta and salmon special. All delicious. Nice wines by the glass. Nice small outdoor seating also on the small sidestreet. Only complaint was an intermittently loud large group at adjacent tables which sometimes made communication difficult.

10/10Absolutely delicious and delightful. A warm and cozy little restaurant with fabulous homemade pasta. The sautéed bream was sublime and my husband’s lamb chops were succulent and well seasoned. Topped off by my favorite dessert …affogato! We had such a great meal we cancelled reservations at another restaurant for our last night in Amsterdam…we’re coming back to Onze Zaak!! Don’t miss it

9.5/10A beautiful meal for our last night in Amsterdam. The restaurant had a laid back atmosphere but with nice linens and cutlery. The wine list was good and had a gorgeous cocktail to start. The pasta dishes were divine..
