Good starters mains average , one veal the other turbot which was cooked well but was swimming in a buttery sauce, unfortunately dissapointing as it was a nice fillet of turbot.

We booked a table at 7pm. When we arrived the restaurant was still closed. It was opened 10 minutes late but it was worth to wait, food was very good!

We had a wonderful dinner here. The restaurant is small which makes the setting intimate and quiet. The service was excellent and our server spoke English which was helpful. The food was fabulous!

The restaurant is tucked away outside of the main tourist area which is what attracted us. The staff were friendly and attentive and the service was at a perfect pace. The free pastry they served at the end of the meal was excellent.

Everything about this restaurant shouted elegant from the minute you walked in the door. The tableware, presentation, decor all were very beautiful, The many has many mouth watering dishes and all were presented beautifully and tasted as good as they looked. The service was very friendly and helpful and not at all stuffy as you might have guessed from such beautiful surroundings

4,6/5 score and nice promising pictures via Google with creative veggie&fruit accompaniments on the plate. Sadly not the case when we were there , apart from the sea-food gratin , our 4 other dishes were quite bland and apparently at that point , the chef's input concerning tasty side-creations on the dishes , was disappointingly limited to coarseley shredded iceberg , radicchio and raw soybean sprouts without any dressing ; honestly the kind you buy in the supermarket pre-cut in their typical plastic wrap. Our 4 other tasteless dishes : cold prawns in yoghurt , salmon carpaccio that is tastier in a all-you-can-eat formula , overly salted sea bass and an expensive langouste "alla Catalan" , served cold like in Belle-Vue style , for which the chef didn't even bother to use a fragrant broth to pre-cook the langouste , accompanied by vegetable julienne , raw and tasteless as well , no dressing nor sauce , to at least put some taste in the dish. Pure cuisine does not mean tasteless..

The restaurant had some very tasty dishes. We were blown away by the Bruschetta with turnip greens, sun-dried tomato and stracciatella cheese. We also had the seafood pasta, seared tuna and a delicious veal dish. The restaurant, while busy with some large groups, had pretty good service and more importantly, they could call for a taxi for us since our hotel was in the suburbs. We would definitely eat at Opera again!
