Loved the caviar spaghetti and the beef cheeks. Prices very reasonable. Restaurant had a more local feel and hardly any tourists which was great!

Dined here on our first night in Parma. Modern and artistic setting, conducive to conversation. Started with an herb butter and foccacio, then a charcuterie served with warm torta fritta. The perfect ravioli still lingers on our palate. Balsami vinegar sauce a fine complement to poultry dish. Enjoyed a chianti classico. What a lovely beginning to our short stay here in Parma.

This is a neighborhood superstar restaurant. Unassuming, yet incredible menu and service. We’d go here every night while in Parma, given the chance. It’s really a not-to-miss foodie experience and the lovely owner and service is icing on top. My husband got the Mare, which was outstanding with a smoky flavor and I got the Lasagnetta which was delicious and I’d order at least once a week. Enough said. Just go.

The pork was supposed to be with polenta but it was served with a tiny slice of polenta hardly visible The tagletelle with fish sauce not very good Wouldnt go back!!

We ordered chef's freehand course, 4 dishes + 1 dessert. It was all too good! It was fish based course from appetizer to second, which perfectly matched to the warm weather on the day. They also served us the recommended wines by the glass for each and every dish, which also perfectly matched!! Very warm staff and great foods by the chef. Interior was cool, mid-century taste. Highly recommend!

The second course came out before the first. Waitress was completely absentee: Couldn’t order wine or balsamic . Food- when it came- was good. Terrible service.

Stylish but relaxed place. Food was of very high quality, traditional with a modern twist. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Will definitely return!

We found Ristorante OperaViva in Trip Advisor. The great reviews motivated us to try this dining gem. We enjoyed a wonderful dining experience with attentive service and care for our understanding of the food being served. Each course was delicious and unique. We dined on the terrace and enjoyed the local, neighborhood scene. Many thanks to a terrific local restaurant that welcomes tourists like us.

Our experience at Operaviva was both wonderful and unexpected. We have been dining on traditional Tuscan cuisine for several weeks, and found Operaviva to be an amazing counterpoint. The dishes seemed to float in their lightness and taste, with a wonderful blending of different flavors.

Excellent fish restaurant about 10 mins walk from the centre of Parma. It was fully booked and offers a good selection of fish and seafood.
