I had a wonderful dinner at Opificio 44. The fusilloni with arugula cream, pine nuts and pecorino was perfectly balanced — fresh, fragrant, and not too heavy. The vitello tonnato was beautifully prepared: tender veal with a delicate, flavorful sauce that felt both traditional and refined. Portions were just right, and the presentation was elegant without being overdone. The vibe of the restaurant, and the flavours that come through in the food, are the very best of Tuscany: rustic and wholesome. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, and the staff were attentive, kind, helpful, and welcoming. It’s clear that real care goes into both the ingredients and the service. Highly recommended — a true gem in Viareggio. I’ll definitely return.

Selection of food different in a positive way to many other restaurants in the city. Food was freshly made and really delicious. Service was great and very friendly. What a wonderful discovery and experience after visiting many years this region.

Excellent food and service and lovely atmosphere!

Our meal was magnificent. Vine also was excellent. The small problem was absents of English menu and staff speak only Italian. But finally we understood each other and our evening was perfect!
