8/10The entrées and the wine were very good. Everything was almost perfect until we got our main course, a risotto. We needed to wait almost an hour between the entrées and the risotto, which for us wasn’t such a big problem as we were on holiday. But when the risotto arrived we were very disappointed. The risotto was not well cooked — the grains were hard, and it was so watery that it looked more like a soup than a risotto. It also had a slightly sour taste, which the waitstaff explained was intentional. It’s a shame, because we were ready to recommend this place to many friends, but after this experience, we just can’t. Especially since the kitchen insisted the risotto was meant to be like that. We would have understood if it had simply turned out poorly by mistake.

+1We were met by a wonderful lady who walked us around part of the vineyard and was able to speak very good English. She accompanied us to the restaurant and talked us through the wines and the menu. The food we ordered was absolutely superb and the chef made up a special dish for me which the waitress referred to as ‘lettuce’ and my word was it sensational! My partner’s meal was also superb having the egg dish to start followed by the fried fish. We tried 3 wines and ordered a bottle of the Nina which had Susumaniello grape was fantastic.

10/10We were welcomed even though it was near closing time. Food was great and there were plenty of wine suggestions which were quite nicely paired with our dishes. Recommended 👍🏻

4/10Unfortunately we had a disappointing evening. We were sat for dinner at 20:30 and at 21:45 we asked what had happened with the food we ordered. They came back some minutes later, still with no food, apologizing they had forgotten our order and asking to wait "5 more minutes"... at that moment we lost any trust and we stood up and left to find somewhere else where we could actually have some dinner. They have more demand that they can actually serve. Could be a nice place if they adjusted their offer to what they really can serve. What should have been a nice summer dinner was a stressful evening.

9.5/10We were seeking a traditional, authentic Italian food experience, and we sure got it. It ticked all our boxes, the food, the staff, the location, and ambience. One of those tucked away gems which shouldn't be missed if you're in the area. We will definitely be going back!

10/10This osteria and enoteca was outstanding! Food, wine and service were the best we've experienced in Puglia to date. I had the stuffed artichoke and fettuccini pastificio del duca and my husband had the tuna tartar and seafood risotto. The wine pairings were excellent (so much so that we purchased three bottles of wine). Grazie mille!

We had a beautiful afternoon at Osteria Origano! The 6 course tasting menu with accompanying wines was one delight after another. Antonio and the rest of the dining room staff were a pleasure; accommodating with my minimal language skills. The spaces both indoor and out are inviting, sophisticated and simply appointed. I highly recommend it and will surely return again and again. Grazie!

10/10We’ve eaten here twice now and it’s one of the best places ever! The food is wonderful and each dish is paired with an excellent local wine. The setting is incredible - outside under beautiful lights and surrounded by plants. This is a really special restaurant, perfect for a special occasion or celebration.
