10/10Great experience! This restaurant offers a comfortable setting where you can watch people pass by all night, enjoy delicious food, and experience service that's both friendly and very efficient (fluent English available). A definite recommendation, and especially for their patatas bravas. These are a unique, gourmet version, which I mistook for croquetas at first; definitely not chips (and all the better for it). Note for families: baby changing table and highchair available.

It was our first visit to Origen Gastrobar today for lunch, and we will definitely be back! All the food we had was tasty and good quality, we particularly enjoyed the bao buns and the patatas bravas. Service was excellent, and sitting in the square, people watching was great fun. We would definitely recommend Origen, and we will be back to try more dishes!

2/10Complete disaster. Tapas were inedible, uncooked crockets, all one could taste was the flour & oil that has been used too many times. The chicken wings tasted the same as the crockets. The Gambon we had to send back because we suspected those were off. I ended up with food poisoning. Never again ever, this place should be shut down by the government health department.

3/10Service very slow. Food highly salted. Asked for a vegan burger, served a meat burger. When I complained, they showed me the ingredients for a vegan burger. That is not what they served, I and my wife can distinguish meat by smell and taste, from veegan/vegetarian. The chef clearly cannot and had taken the wrong one from the fridge. The insistance that I was wrong is poor - any discerning palate would know meat from non-meat. Used to be good. Not now.

Alberto made our experience memorable! Well... the food is delicious - so good! The ambiance is friendly and warm, and the bathroom is clean - which is the basis for a happy dining experience. But it's Alberto - the host and server, who made the evening so much fun. He's a nice guy, and don't hesitate to say "hi" to him from Susan & Ken.

10/10Great burgers, desserts & Coffee. Lovely to relax in a beautiful outside setting on the square & watch the world go by with a few glasses of wine. This place has a real chilled out vibe with very effecient, friendly staff.

10/10Fabulous location at the beginning of Tapas Alley and on a beautiful square. Inside or outside seating in a gorgeous restaurant with a stylish and comfortable interior. Great service with a smile! Delicious food, quite creative and very well presented. Would definitely recommend

What a nice place to spend an evening - the food was delicious, the service excellent, and it's so nice to sit in the plaza watching the world go by. We look forward to returning. I just loved their tuna tartare - tartar de atún - a beautiful presentation and very tasty.

3/10Food was drab at best. One main course arrived 15 minutes later than everyone else's which was ok when the owner said it will be 'on the house' / free as an apology. When the final bill came, the owner back tracked and said if I don't pay in full that he would call the police. Very strange behaviour and definitely not a language barrier. If the owner needs my extra 9 Euros to survive then so be it - this poor but accurate review will ultimately cost him more. Possibly the worst dining experience in Denia, spend your money elsewhere ...

5.5/10There was nothing wrong with the food or the service or location. It was all ok. However, there were only 2 tables occupied in the restaurant and that implies that the restaurant isn’t great for local people. I was also overcharged €8.50 for a drink that was supposed to be on special offer at €6.90. Overall- expensive and very average. We will not return, unfortunately and I wouldn’t recommend it either.

3/10I went there because I discovered the restaurant through the app, but the ribs were the most disappointing ones I have ever had. They were not correctly cooked at all. The veggies were great, and probably the best thing we're the frozen French fries they have with the ribs. Not worth it for a la cart, maybe the daily menu is good.

10/10This was a great find through Fork. We never would have found it ourselves. The decor is really lovely, everything feels fresh and new, the staff were really helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back!!

4/10The Restaurante has a good location and perhaps in the summer a better vibe hopefully the get the toilets fixed the smell was very unpleasant The beginning of the dinner experience was okay but the service good be much more attentive we had to look for the waiters so all in all we can not recommend the Origen restaurant

6.5/10We love the ambiance and beautiful interior. The staff are friendly and provide good service. We were a group of 6 friends and 2 of us liked the food and the rest of us did not. The gosh of the day grilled was quite good. The bacalao en tempura (Cod) was soggy and mushy as were the Patatas com Cabrales (potatoes with Cabrales cheese). And the ribs were just ok. The red wine that was recommended was very good. We look forward to going back but feel it’s a place best for certain tapas and drinks.
