Origen is a wonderful restaurant, we had a 'shortened' set menu (their full set menu has three further courses). Cooking, presentation and service were excellent. I would gladly return. I was slightly skeptical at first about a restaurant in a small rural town having a Michelin star, especially in the context of the excellence of some non-starred restaurants in the region, however my doubts were rapidly allayed. Giving 10/10 across the board is not to say that there is no room for improvement however '9.5's aren't available and taking a full 10% off on any point would not be justified. I have every confidence that the team at Origen are looking critically at everything they do and look forward to my next visit.

Just amazing ford. Had the set/tasting menu €55 where every course was absolutely spot on. Wonderful flavours and presentation. Thanks to the waiter who’s English was far better than our Spanish and helped to make the meal special. Superb value for money, both good and wine - it can’t be long before the chef gets his Michelin star
