Very friendly staff. Authentic feel with nice atmosphere, despite being surrounded by Irish bars. Food well prepared & tasty, although one of our group felt their Portuguese sausage starter, cooked over flame, was a little too charred. On our shortlist for a return visit.

Good Services combined with great food. Not easy for a restaurant when two adults appearing with 6 kids, aged from 5 to 9. All kids got full attention from the , I guess it was the owner, of the restaurant. We ordered no spaghetti to eat , that’s the favourite of the kids. They all got what the menu is offering . So - no special kids no menu . Recommend place to stay

Great little gem in the old town Portuguese at its best I've never had a bad meal yet,they use all fresh ingredients the chateaubriand for two is amazing so soft and tender & the lamb chops cooked however you like rare,medium etc.the fish dishes are also very good fresh fish.

Food was very tasty - fresh and cooked really well. Good menu choices too. We decided to start with a Courvet and Garlic Bread to eat, then a grilled Dorade (Golden Bream) with Potatoes & Salad, and a Pork Fillet with Port Wine Sauce, Chips & Salad - all delicious! Excellent service throughout and a brilliant ambience! Rooftop seating is highly recommended! A highly recommended restaurant if you wish for tradtional Algarvian food plus a good experience

From the second we walked in this place felt special. We were sat upstairs in the terrace,the place has a traditional feel to it,we were made instantly welcome,we started with garlic bread with cheese which was full of flavour,for mains I had the t-bone and my partner had sirloin Portuguese style,both were superb,and puddings were all home made,I had apple crumble which again was very good and my partner had a traditional Portuguese sweet,both came with ice cream and cream. Special mention has to go to Hugo who looked after us,who was very personable,he told us all about the origins of the wine and the history of the recipes,he engaged with us constantly through the night,and gave our visit a personal touch,we loved it and can’t rate it highly enough,a little gem of a restaurant 11/10

We made a reservation and could have been not more welcome from the time we arrived. After looking at other reviews we were not disappointed at all, great menu, great prices, great service from start to finish. We had 2 t bone steaks, prawn dish and lamb chops and every single dish was amazing, well done guys

The host is great and the food is good, but there can be a delay of about 45 mins at busy times. The food is typically Portuguese. If you want to eat on the roof terrace try booking ahead, but even if you do it might not mean you don’t have to wait, it’s very popular up there and they can’t tell how long people will linger

The atmosphere and welcome on arrival started a great experience. All staff were friendly, funny and helpful, nothing appeared to much trouble. The food was outstanding and our party of 8 people all raved about the quality, best meal of our fortnight holiday. Finally the price was great value and based on all factors this places is Arcos at the top of the list in Albufeira.

Having eaten at Os Arcos dozens of times over the years it still doesn't disappoint I highly recommend the chateaubriand for 2 to share and the cheesecake for desert.Luis the waiter is amazing and looks after you really well

Service and food was amazing, rooftop the Best ambiance. Thank you so much for this taste of Portugal, it was the best. We had a great time. Again, service (smiles and good sense of humour) made a huge difference from other restaurants. Great value for money

Been coming here for many years. A couple of changes of ownership During that time which didn’t always go well. But the past couple of years seems to be back to as good as it was originally and our meal last night was excellent. Sea bream for one and I had the pork tenderloin which was superb. Chefs sauce was amazing. So 2 happy people last night and so glad to see that they are busy and thriving

My partner and I visited Os Arcos in April 2025, this was my third visit to this restaurant over the years and it never disappoints! The food is outstanding and the staff are so friendly. I noticed the place had been done up and the standard has improved which is a nice touch - not that there was anything wrong with it in the first place! I love this place, definitely my favourite restaurant in albufeira. Can’t wait to come back again. Thank you.

This is our 2nd visit to this restaurant during our holiday and it was every bit as good as the 1st time the food is fantastic and the owner/waiter Luis is great he is very funny and extremely good at his job if we come back next year we Will definitely go back

Very nice, French onion soup was delicious. My wife said the veggie lasagne was lovely, moist unlike some we have had- (the 2nd best she has had in albufeira and we have had a place here for the last 15 years!) my daughter really enjoyed the homemade tagliatelle. Would definitely recommend however service could’ve been a little better, more staff and check the bill as it did come with the 30% off.
