The price of the daily specials was 20 euros on the outdoor sign, but it turned out to be 25 euros. The drinks were also very expensive, and the food was not of good quality for the price.

The à la carte menu and regular menu were both excellent. With TheFork, we had a discount for the à la carte menu, and the selection that we came with was amazing. Two members of our party ordered a special, and it was unbelievable. The atmosphere was perfect, close to the main spots but off the beaten path so much more authentic. The food was excellent and the service was terrific too. The decor was so fun and a great Venetian vibe.

Glorious food and really lovely and helpful lady. My granddaughter has recently become vegetarian and it wasn’t immediately clear from the menu which dishes didn’t have meat in them but the lady explained and offered a glorious plate of mixed vegetables with cheese, plus mushroom tagliatelle. She was well pleased. The rest of us had baccala mantecata (which my husband said was the best ever), octopus and the special potato soufflé, then lamb and lobster. My grandson is eating his way round Venice on Tiramisu and rated this one highly. A great evening.

Everything about Osteria al Garanghelo was just perfect. Not too loud, attentive and friendly service, delicious and homey food. It truly felt like you were at someone’s dining table. Every bite was delicious and we felt welcomed (even with the little Italian we speak and being unfamiliar with Venetian cuisine). If we had more time in Venezia, we would definitely return!!

Food was really good and our waitress was very nice and did her best to serve us. Lasagna was great and so was the Homemade Ravioli. If paying via Fork make sure you notify the staff way ahead of time so they can call the owner of the restaurant for verification.

Had a large group of us. Forced to order individual drinks. Was not allowed to order larger bottles of water or ask for tap water. Just ordering 2 dozen small bottles of water alone increased the cost of significantly. I believe we were treated differently because we booked using The Fork app for the discount. Felt they just wanted to take advantage of a big group of tourists to make up for the difference. Food was OK but the way we were treated could improve.

In our restaurant we didn’t serve a water from taps and we have just small bottles because we don’t have a place for large bottles.In the end you say that next time look to go to a take away restaurant so you can pay less🥶🥶

Food was ok and the price was above average. Waitress was friendly. We did not enjoy the one drink minimum for our big party. This was not told to us until we had already ordered the food. Seems like a silly and revenue hungry requirement, given each of us had ordered an entry.

Osteria al Geranghelo is a nice restaurant, cosy ambience with very friendly staff. It was recommended to me by a Venetian friend as a non touristic place. We loved the food, especially the home made ravioli di pesce (fish ravioli- they were among the special of the day) but also the mixed fish starters a la veneziana. Good selection of wines and as said .. super friendly staff. A great experience in Venice. Prices in line with the city, and reasonable considering the quality of the meal and the fish

The front of house was excellent she made us feel very welcome and was very kind warm and relaxed . Suggested a delicious fish dish which came with vegetables and she fileted which went well will the wine she recommended xx

Charming place and good service. The food was excellent. We tried several of the specialities and they were all wonderful. Loved it.

Grilled fish was tasty - the sauce went well with whatever was plain. Not sure of the deconstructed lasagne though. Milanese was juicy and crispy, but the fritelle was like a profiterole. Hits and misses, but atmosphere made up for the overall experience.

Fabulous food! Friendly, efficient service and recommendations of differently priced wines. With the Fork discount option, the bill was surprisingly affordable. A really lovely evening!

A small restaurant with a few tables, a friendly waitress, delicious food in the Venetian style, good and inexpensive wine (as far as possible in Venice). Recommend for a family dinner!

It has been a super pleasent discover! Even if it's a little place, privacy has been granted. I enoyed the most the food quality ( I deeply recommend Spaghetti ai frutti di mare) and the flawless service. Last but not least: the value for money is definitely honest. Can't wait to be back again!

The food was very good. But there was only one waiter that was evidently overwhelmed.

We were “accidentally” charged 20 euros for the bread. Our waiter quickly removed the item when we pointed out the mistake. (The table next to us also had a problem with their bill.) The seafood was tasty.

We have been wanting to try this gem for several years. Everything was amazing and a great local find. The fried calamari was perfectly crisp. The scampi was equally simple and divine.

I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant. First, we were greeted by an amazing staff who really took care of us. Second, the atmosphere was great. Third, the food was outstanding. You can tell that everything on the menu was fresh and cooked to order. Finally, they had air conditioning! Which was fantastic since it was 95 F (28C) outside. All in all I was very impressed with this place and I will be returning next time I come to Venice! Highly recommend.

Friendly staff, our server was very patient, I asked him to repeat their daily special menu 3 times time. Food was great, nothing to complain. Reasonable prices.
