Best meal I’ve had in Rome. Shrimp gnocchi was so good as were everyone’s meals. Great ambience sitting on street eating. Highly recommend.

Despite being in the heart of busy Trastavere, Oste Nostro is on a less-busy street, and it was the least touristy restaurant we encountered in the area. The food was very good, and the server was excellent. My vegetarian family had no problem finding good options to eat!

The food is very tasteful, the tiramisu is probably the best in Roma, and the personnel is very nice and helpful. As for the atmosphere, there is a chill vibe quite appreciated, the music is well chosen and you can eat in the patio if you want, this is so cozy!

Oste Nostro inhabits an oasis of calm off the teeming paths around Santa Maria in Trastevere. Inside, it is small but elegantly done, not too many tables in each small room (except the 'cloister' a closed room) so wonderfully quiet for conversation. The service too was gentile and effectively quick, they accommodated my companion's vegan diet happily, and my dish was excellent. A small wine by the glass list but I found a very palatable Grechetto. Cost was excellent value.

we have ordered via thefork. We had a problem with payment, they did not give us the discount at 20 %. And the owner was not very kind. We got the discount at the end. We sat in a tent with garden-funiture and it was a bit cold

I have been to Oste Nostro twice. In November, the menu was a little more interesting (not your typical Roman menu items but very traditional Italian dishes). I went this October and found the menu to have more of the traditional items seen on most menus throughout Rome, but it was done exceptionally well! So many restaurants produce slop for Americans... I am sorry, I SAID IT. Everything I have had at this restaurant is fantastic! If you go before 9pm, it will be super quiet. After 9, the restaurant really fills up. I highly recommend trying Oste Nostro.
