The Fork has yet to steer us wrong. Our food was great, service was perfect too, and we met wonderful people. Another delightfully memorable evening in Venice! I had the pasta with scallops and mushrooms, and my wife had a vegetarian pasta. Both were fantastic!

10/10The food was fantastic. We both ordered pastas and both of us thought that they were among the best pastas we've ever eaten. We also shared the pistachio souffle, which was more like a molten cake than a safe, but it was fantastic. Highly recommended.

We had a table for four outside under a heating lamp and it super nice and warm despite the outside temperature of 16 degree Celsius. The waiter was super nice and quick making it a lovely evening. Finally the food, delicious and for the centre of Venice not to expensive. We had a lovely three course dinner and will definitely come back next time when staying in Venice. On top we each got a glass of meloncello on the house. And when the bill came, the 20% for booking via TheFork were already deduced, no asking necessary, just perfect service!

We had a nice table outside where you can watch people go by while you eat. The bread was fresh and toasted, spaghetti Vongole was the best I had on our visit to Venice. Excellent service, waiter gave us a free delicious melonchello shot after dinner. High quality food and reasonable prices.

We loved the walk to this lovely Osteria. It was far less touristy and crowded than the area near our Rialto hotel. The service was excellent and the meal delicious. All for a reasonable price. I enjoyed the Spaghetti Al Nero di Seppia, though I did have black squid ink on my tongue! My partner enjoyed the lasagna. We were treated to an appertivo. So glad we found this little gem.

The Chianti was superb, the food very nice & good to see a different menu from most other restaurants in Venice. Service was top notch too. A lovely relaxing experience.

9.5/10Great food and fantastic service. The menu is very limited, but if you find a few items you like - you ready for a great evening. Very reasonable prices on food and wine. We enjoyed the Spaghetti Carbonara, Al dente pasta with excellent sauce. Lamb chops were cooked well, slightly too much, but good. The Sea Bass (Fish of the day) was just ok, not much flavor, but vegetables good. Great local Sauv Blanc wine. The service is fantastic - very attentive and pleasant. We sat outside and watched the people go by. Give it a try!

The waiter was attentive and advised us about the specials and answered our questions about the menu. It is a modern menu with twists on Italian classics (I had the ravioli which was made from black squid ink and stuffed with fish). The waiter helpfully replaced a glass of wine which had got a fly in without even asking which was a lovely gesture. A quiet place off the main streets of Venice and near the university. A great find and would recommend going there

9/10We look online for the best places for dinner in Venice and Osteria Aea Canevassa had good reviews. We book a table for 2 and went there. we were really surprised at how good it all was. we got 2 dishes each and good wine for a really good price. The most polite staff ever. They have an incredibly high level of service. a level not seen as much elsewhere in Venice. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience.

The meal was a delight. We shared the fish platter starter, which was huge and utterly delicious: creamed salt cod in various forms, white crayfish, prawns, langustine, and more. We then both had the ravioli: squid ink pasta filled with fish and a pumpkin sauce - divine. To finish We both had lively desserts: tiramisu and a pistachio souflee. As if this wasn't perfect enough, our waiter arrived with a complementary meloncello to finish! This was all accompanied by local wine and a great atmosphere. I would recommend.
