Cold and rainy night out, warm local atmosphere inside. Fabulous fish - raw scampi for starter, so fresh you could taste the sea, grilled fillet of bass for main, and finally 'grandma's cake', a delicious confection of sponge cake, custard filling, cream and chocolate sauce. This was our first night in Venice and a great way to start. Good value, too. Busy! You need to book!

We had an excellent evening yesterday. Courteous and friendly service (multilingual). After a successful starter, we tried different types of fish fillets. Everything was perfect. We Come back.

This is a delightful authentic Venetian restaurant. The finest local ingredients combined lovingly to produce some very tastey dishes. The secret is the staff (including the chef) ask questions, listen to what you want and deliver perfectly. The understated chic location adds to the atmosphere.

Great cook that dares every day to experiment, delicious and creative fish dishes, eg ravioli with exquisite sauce, and fish filled with spinach and cheese. Dedicated and knowledgeable service located at one of these hidden small and romantic squares of Castello.
