10/10The food and service were both excellent. Pasta Carbonara was delicious and my husband said his lasagne was amazing. Lovely complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal. Waiter was so nice too.

The staff was really wonderful! Very friendly and rearranging things to keep us warm outside. We had bruscetta, pizza and pasta, and all was the best we've had. All-around best experience for our last night in Venice!

Osteria al Giardino completely stole our hearts (and taste buds)! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — warm, genuine service that makes you feel like part of the family. The food was spectacular — every dish bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with love and the freshest ingredients. We loved it so much we came back a second time during our four-day trip — something we rarely do! Each visit was just as perfect as the first. Whether you’re enjoying a leisurely lunch in their charming garden or a cozy dinner inside, everything about this place is pure Venetian magic. If you’re in Venice, do not miss Osteria al Giardino. It’s the kind of restaurant you’ll be dreaming about long after you leave.

9/10We tried several other options. This was by far our best choice for three nights. Wonderful! Venice, service was great. The food was very good and had a very nice environment. The limoncello at the end was Perfecto.

2.5/10We ordered a cheese plate. Got 8 slices of cheese, two slices of Bree two of Swiss two of blue cheese and one that we didn’t know. Not very exotic. I ordered pasta -ravioli. It was not cooked enough. The scampi was tiny, hardly any meat for the price. Nothing else on the plate. It too forever to get the cheese and our dinner. Poor value. Disappointed.

9.5/10The food was great. We had two wines. Each was excellent. Both appetizers were superb. We all had different main courses. Everyone was very satisfied. My scampi was different than what I expected, but delicious. The lamb chops were also a special treat. Our waiters patiently let me experiment with my Italian.

10/10Lovely street restaurant,large choice too much really. Best Bruschetta I have ever had. Pasta was cooked perfectly great wine suggestion by the waiter although it cost €70. Prices were very reasonable to be fair for the quality of the food. Book through the fork and get 20% off the a la carte menu. Will definitely go again....

10/10We came upon this lovely spot while researching recommended restaurants near Santa Croce. The restaurant is very tastefully designed and furnished and the venue, both indoors and for the outdoor tables, is pleasantly enhanced by soft background music. The menu is fish forward and sufficiently extensive to have something of interest for everyone. Our pasta was perfectly cooked al dente and the seafood was fresh and very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. Also prices are moderate and more than fair given the quality of the food. We really enjoyed our experience here. Definitely recommend!

10/10It was our first night in Venice and we made the reservation before we left home. Our waiter was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was attractive. We decided to sit inside as most of the outside tables were full. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food. If we were staying longer, we might have gone back. We had a variety of pasta and the lamb chops. The gnocchi was especially good. All enjoyed their meal.

6.5/10After reading all the reviews we were really looking forward to the restaurant but left pretty underwhelmed from start to finish. 1 of 4 main meals came out much later than the other 3, items missing, sauces we asked for never turned up. The mix grill which was €56 (for 2 people) was very average, we have had much, much better meals over the past week in Venice.

I definitely recommend this place. The food was lovely: the ingredients fresh, the portions big enough, the presentation nice. You are a little bit outside the (very) busy centre so the atmosphere is more relax and homely. The owners were super nice. Would definitely recommend.

9.5/10It is tucked away on a quiet street in Venice (no canal views though) with delicious food and excellent warm service. Would definitely recommend to others!
